Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

*Coming back into dormhouse. Well, looks like Stinky's in good company out there in the garden patio. Put him in a spot where he'd get some sunlight and some shade as well.

Gonna go downstairs and work on filing some things, receipts and more of the list. Might be someone new joining the dorms, hope they ring the lobby's bell to let me know.

*Almost bumps into Red on way downstairs. Hi Red, you got something for me to sign?
*Chuckles a bit. Course I'll sign Kat-ty's card, she's one of my good friends here at MC.
*Both arrive downstairs. Hey Count, got a card here for you to sign.
Count: Vonderful... Ah, and look at the signatures! So many to count.
*Counts signatures after adding his, and I've added mine with the little window for doing so.

Thanks for looking after Prairie and Gaffer, I'm sure Kathy would be happy.

Herry: Oh by the way Kyle. Grover brought home one of your winning bid items.

Oh boy! *opens it* YES! It's here! My Muppet Drum set is here. I'm glad to have this. This will be one of my favorite collectibles when we show our stuff this weekend. *starts putting it together*

Cookie M: Can me play it first?

Not really Cookie. I don't have drum sticks. I'll have to find some. But maybe sometime I'll let you drum on them.

Cookie M: Oooo goodie!

Now come on. Let's go eat.

Grover: Olive Garden sounds good to me.

Herry: Ohh Grover you read my mind.

Grover: What do you know? My supermonster powers are showing through again.

Snuffy: Hey, Bird? How come since we have been living at the dorms we don't have a Number or Letter of the Day?
Big Bird: Gee, that's a good question, Snuffy. I don't really know.
Telly: Well, why don't we announce them now before we go to bed?
Rosita: Good idea, Telly.
Bry: Sounds good to me.
Snuffy: Go ahead, Bird.

Rosita: Why "K"?
Big Bird: "K" is for Kathy, who I hope feels better soon.
All: (nodding in agreement) Yeah.
Big Bird: And by the Number 6...
Snuffy: Why the Number 6, Bird?
Big Bird: The Number 6 is for 6 great friends who share this room.
Snuffy: Ohoho.
Bry: That's sweet, Big Bird.
Big Bird: Yeah.
Telly: Good job, Big Bird!

Red: *coming back to room 3 in a flurry* All right I've got all the signatures for Kathy's card! *sees Mokey and Beth with their heads down and another figure with their back turned* What's going on?
Beth: *popping her head up* Oh hi Red
*the figure turns around to reveal it is Cantus*
Red: Cantus, what are you doing here?
Cantus: Well young Fraggle, it seems late in the night our dear friend Ryan lost his grandfather
Red: Well he should go look for him!
Mokey: No Red, Cantus means that his grandfather died last night
Red: Oh.....
Beth: So, Ryan's going to be gone for a little while and Cantus will be hanging out with us a bit
Red: That's so sad
Cantus: He is pretty upset, he gathered up some stuff and rushed home last night. I would like to do more, but I'm not sure what to do.
Mokey: Well, I think we should do what we did for Kathy, except we'll make it a sympathy card instead of a Get Well card
Beth: That's a great idea, then he'll know all his Muppet Dormies care about him!
Red: Does that mean I'm going to have to run around all day again and get more signatures?
*all turn to glare at Red*
Red: I'm sorry, I'll go
Mokey: You're just so fast that's all
Beth: Well, I guess we've got work to do, let's get to it!
Red: I'd better start by bringing this card for Kathy down to Prairie's room so that's done.

Truly sorry to hear the news about Ryan's grandfather. Hey Count?

UD: Fright here my fiend. Slipped in during the night... Ryan left in such a rush...
Yes I understand, it's quite all fright. You can stay here with us till he gets back.

UD: Although I would have liked to go and help Ryan through his troubles, I'm bound by Death's gracious gesture to be here at the dorms.

Understood, we'll have to do something special for Ryan.

Red: All right, here is the card for Kathy
Prairie: Oh great! I know she'll love it. I've kept the pie in the fridge for her as well.
Red: Now I need you to sign another card.

Red: Ryan's grandfather died last night
Prairie: Oh, that's really sad! Oh my. Well I'll sign my name, and Gaffer's since she can't write and I'll sign for Kathy too. She'll understand what Ryan's going through. Maybe I'll tell her to get in touch with him when she gets back. *signs card*
Red: Yeah, Ryan would probably like talking to someone who's been there. Anyway, thanks Prairie. See you for dinner later?
