Grover and Herry wake up and go to the kitchen in the common room

Grover: What will you have Herry?

Herry: I'll have some eggs, biskets, gravy, bacon.

Grover: You got it. *starts fixing breakfest*

Me: *gets out of bed, yawns, and loggs onto the internet* Wonder what's happening over at MC today...

Beau: I think they, er, are doin some kind of role-play thing. Not very fun, you know?

*Beth comes into dorm for lunch*
Beth: Red, you still in bed?
Red: yeah, I'm awake, I'm just so tired from this weekend!
Beth: I can understand that
Red: Did you see the cool necklace that Grover made me with a pebble?
Beth: No, I didn't
Red: it's on my desk right now. I wanted to take it off while I was sleeping
Beth: Oh, I see, it's beautiful! Well, I"m just here for a quick lunch before going back to work. Can I get you anything?
Red: No, I'm going to go take a shower and then catch up on some homework. I'll just grab some radishes out of the fridge
Beth: Sounds good. I'm going to drop the tape of the meet off for Christy and Scooter to watch. See you later!
*Beth goes to Christy and Scooters room and leaves tape by the door along with a note "we missed you this weekend, here's a tape of the swim meet, hope you enjoy it, keep it as long as you like! Beth and Red"

I had a meeting to attend but they canceled it. I hate when that happens.

Grover: What was it about?

Nothing.....becasue they canceled it.

Grover: Oh sorry. didn't hear you.

Herry: We have ours tomorrow.

Oh, well say hi to everyone.

Where's Cookie?

Herry: Still asleep. He was up half the night.

What for?

Grover: His mother is having another kid.

Your kidding.

Grover: Nope I'm telling you truth.

WOW! He's going to have another sibling. A boy or girl?

Herry: Don't know yet.

I would have never figured that would bother Cookie. Poor monster.

Me: Hey Red, it sure has been quiet around here today
Red: That's not a bad thing after the weekend we just had!
Me: I agree! So I saw Grover in the hallway and he said Cookie Monster is going to have a new sibling
Red: Wow, that's cool!
Me: Well, it sounds like he's not taking it so well, he was up half the night
Red: Oh, that's too bad!
Me: I thought I'd bake a special batch of cookies for him and leave them at his door, just to let him know he's still special to us and we're thinking of him
Red: That would be nice!
*Beth goes to kitchen and bakes special chocolate chip cookies*
Red: Wow, that was fast
Beth: That's why they're called "special" chocolate chip cookies
Red: I see
Beth: I'm going to leave these at his door
*Beth puts plate of cookies in front of monsters and Kyle's room with a note that says "For a VERY special Monster, something to brighten your day, from Beth and Red."

Prairie:You know,Kath...I was thinking.Cookie Monster seems upset since he'll be getting a new sibling.
Yeah...I know. We should reassure him that this new baby won't be taking his place,and that his mom and dad will always love him...new baby or no new baby.
Prairie:I got an idea!Remember when you were so upset last month when things were going lousy & the Monsters sent you a "Free Hug" coupon?
Yes I do! You thinking of making one from us?
Prairie*nodding her head* What do you think of that idea?
I think you're a genius Prairie!
*Prairie turns on the computer and prints out*:

Perfect!
*Prairie and I scotch tape the coupon to Kyle & the Monsters' door & tip toe away*

*Groggily: Just 5 more minutes.
Huh? Wha? Oh, OK.
*Starts to get up. Sorry for the confusion, feeling just a smidge off lately. But never mind. Finally have a free day from our classes again, and we've got a dentist's appointment in the late afternoon.
We're both going to have our teeth and fangs checked by a new dentist. If all goes well, I'll make subsequent appointments to have my wisdom teeth pulled out.
Enough of that, there are other things to tend to here at the dorms.

Count: "Mmm, vhat should ve make to cheer up our dorm friends?"
Well, we could... I know!
Count: "You mean..."
Yes, you know the recipe.
Count: "Vonderful, I get to count them all up again, all the way to the bakery."
Yes my friend, we'll have some breakfast and then get to work on the cookies for Cookie and Red and Beth.
If anyone needs us we'll be in the common room or our room.

*walks down hallway and sees Free Hugs coupon on a door*

Me: Beau, check it out. Free hugs.

Beau: How much to they usually cost?

Me: Just a bit of you.

Beau: A bit of...me?

Me: Yeah, you see, when you give a bit of your heart to someone in a hug, they give you a hug back.

Beau: A bit of my Heart! And I though hugs were always free.

 

[The Count]

Well, now that that's done, off to the kitchen area.

*Gets all ingredients ready. Hmmm, think we should make one batch chocolate chip and another batch with radish dust.
Count: "Just so long as I get to count them all up afterwards."
Yes my friend, now then let's get to work.
*Music starts to fill the room from TV set to Oldies Music channel.

Me: *looks up from my desk* Oh man this speech is going to be the death of me.
: Now who's exaggerating.
Me: No seriously I need a break. I'm going on a walk around the dorms. Wanna come?
: Sure. I want to drop a note off at Beth and Red's asking if I can make a copy of this video *holds up tape* for the Muppet Family Home Movie Collection.
Me: We're gonna hafta put in another closet to hold all those tapes of yours. *both walk out of the room. I close the door*
: I know. I know. But you're just as bad.
Me: Why do you think we get along so well.
*Begins singing and dancing around Something Better from Muppet Treasure Island*
Scooter: Did I ever tell you how weird I thought you were??
Me: *just smiles sings* There's Something Better Than This For You and Meeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Scooter: *laughs*
