*answering door* Oh, hey! Sorry, I must've lost track of time! Anyway, I'll be there in just a second. *walks into room, and comes back a second later. Calls* Boys, are you ready?
Gobo: Yep, can't wait! *coming out with Wembley close behind* Hey guys, great ta see ya!
Wembley: Yep, sure is great that we're all going out together! Gives us a chance to get spend some quality time with our roommates.
Gobo: *craning his neck trying to see Cotterpin* Hey Cotterpin. What's up?
Me: So, is everyone hungry?
Both in unison: Starved!
Me: Oh, good. *to Kelly* It's right across the street, so we can just walk there.

 

[RedPiggy]

Kelly (smiles): Hey, Kate. I'm glad you opened the door. Spike was about to open it ... with his foot.

Cotterpin: I call Wembley! *Spike rolls his eyes and sets Cotterpin on Wembley's shoulders* Aaah .... this is a LOT more comfortable than Mr. Bony up there.

Spike: Lead da way. *playfully slaps Kate on the back*

Me: *nearly doubling over* Ooh..uh..sure thing. *leads the group over to Everybody Eats* *At the restaurant*

Me: Thinking over what to have. *We were never really clear on this, but I personally don't consider there being a menu; they simply have everything!* Usually when we come here, we get a large Greek salad with extra raddishes and split it. Tonight though, I think I'll have the portobello rap. How 'beout you Gobo?
Gobo: *thinking* Hmm, I think I'll just get an order of plain raddishes.
Wembley: Yeah, me too.
Me: Hmmm, how 'bout we get our usual salad, along with my rap? Is that alright with you two?
*both of them brighten up a little at the thought of not eating alone, so to speak* Sure! Sounds great!
Me: Good, then we're decided. I think I'll have a glass of lemonade.
Gobo: Water for me.
Wembley: Me too.
Me: Do you three have any ideas on what you'd like?

Cotterpin (on Wembley's shoulder): Um ... I pick ... I guess ... ooh ... that looks nice ... I'll get a heaping pile of orange food pellets and some sparkling radish juice.

Kelly: Hmm ... the honey BBQ steak with loaded mashed potatoes sounds good. Still, there's beef fajitas and refried beans. *nods* I guess I'll go with the Fajita. Sweet iced tea for me, thanks.

Spike (rubbing his tummy and licking his lips): I'll have da root beer keg, da side of dry-rub BBQ ribs, an insanely large fries, vegetable stew, coupla loaves o' bread, a coupla cheeseburgers ... an' ... an' ...

Kelly (gawking): An antacid?

Spike (shrugs): Some fried ice cream.

Me and Gobo: *trying not to laugh*
Wembley: *in awe*
*waiter comes over, and everyone repeates their orders slowly enough for him to get it all written down*
Waiter: *a little taken aback, but not too much, after all, he's used to dealing with all types of muppets on a daily basis* Alrighty, your food will be out..uh..soon.
Me: Thank you.
Waiter: *smiling in a friendly way. This is a great little town! No problem.

Spike (innocently): What? You don't get ta weigh as much as a car by eatin' granola bars, ya know.

Kelly and Cotterpin *giggles*

Me: *still laughing a bit* Oh no Spike, that's fine! It's..well..as normal as we ever want things to get around here.

Spike (shrugs): Normally, I'd order a keg or two of whiskey ... but Kel here says I shouldn't warp youngah minds.

Kelly (facepalms): So, ahem, Kate ... how was your day?

Me: Oh, it was pretty good. My aunt and cousin came over for a bit, and we went out to lunch at the local diner back home. I haven't seen my cousin in a while, so that was fun. How 'bout you?
