Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Yeah... That was not a good game for the NY faithful. On the other hand... Now we know what to order at the Rock & Roll Deli for tomorrow... The new Sun-Baked Cheese Stakes. Or perhaps the dune dwellers might entune a new song about how their Cardinals are fighting forward. After all, desert rose has its thorns.

*Is reminded about the Fraggles b'days. Aw, completely forgot. Hey, did you get Red the Elder Clan books from that new author I love? Kelly Somethingorother? Well...
*Leaves cards for the four fraggles and a little something else. For Gobo a new knapsack with space for a friendly doozer to knap in the sack as they travel from The Count. For Wembley, a banana tree towel and mask for scaring the beloobius out of Boober from Uncle D. For Mokey, a spiderweb or spider-fly-web spun shawl with a rockbeetle aunc from The Count. And for Red, a batch of home-made radish bars from me—and The Upper Crust—and an obscured rock hockey stick for playing out in the snow from Uncle D.
The gifts are left on the doorsteps of Rooms #3 and 5 respectively, hoping they'll be claimed eagerly by all.

Well, the games are over for this week. All that's left are the two on next Sunday. Sure hope my blackbirds are ready for a third round with thos steeltown workers from that Saturday night... *Song reference.
Wonder if Beth got the PM I sent and what she thinks. And I wonder what/who should I bring in as the three haunters to fill up the remaining spots in the newest grouping. Oh well, inspiration might strike.

*Moves along to snatch a glass of milk for self.

Announcement

Hi, just a friendly note from us here at the MC Dorms. The time has come... To talk of finer things, ergh, no. We've reached the start of another term. And that means that I'd appreciate you letting me know privately, whether via PM or email, if you intend on staying on as part of the place. Also, please LMK if you plan on keeping your current roomies or making any changes. I'm not opposed to changes in roommates... But please choose them carefully as they're the characters we will associate you with. And also, I would prefer to avoid a revolving door/room like what happened a few years before that led to the institution of the dorms' rules.

In addition, there are two more announcements that'll come in early February regarding a few friends, but those will be made clear once we arrive there.
Also, if you know of someone who'd like to join, please inform them as to the application process and I'll gladly hear their nomination en route to refering them to the team for approval on whether or not they should/may become part of the roster.

*Arrives at College, excited and nervous. Sees everyone, and immediatey runs to check out room.*

Incase you hadn't realized, I'm new to the MC dorms.

 

[The Count]

*Hears ding at the lobby desk and goes to greet the new roomies. Hello, ah Katherine, and Lou Fraggle. Heard good things about you both. Come, I'll get you to your room. *Picks the key next to the marble 4 from the lobby's desk's backwall, ushering the newest residents past a set of double doors. Okay, your room's on the downstairs floor. *Summons the dumbwaiter elevator. Yes, we use this to get from floor to floor around here. You'll note the Old World furnace concealing its housing. Oh, and if you hear grumbling coming from the trashcan here in Floor 2's common room, that's just Oscar who lives there. *The car descends one floor downwards into what's known as the basement level.

All right then, Floor 1's common room. Now it's a quick turn to our left... First door here on our left is my room, you can knock or leave a note if you need help with anything. Second door down on our right, that's yours. *Hands Katherine the key. Methinks you'll like it here in this part of the dorms. For neighbors you've got Kathy and Prairie Dawn, Rosita and Gaffer in #6 to your right—she might have a furry blue addition soon as well. Beth and Red and Mokey along with Abby Cadaby and Wanda the Cat are directly across in #3, and Gobo and Wembley are with Kate in #5 diagonally across from your own room. Also, Erin occupies Room #7, she's here with Scooter and Nora, and Beige and Storyteller, two more Fraggles. The last room down on your right in this hall is the laundry, the baths are the last door down on your left all the way down the other direction in the floor's other wing.

*Wembley and Gobo come out into the hallway.*
Gobo: Oh, hi.
Wembley: Hello. *sees Lou* Oh, wow, Low! Are you moving back in?
Me: *explaining to Katherine* See, Lou used to live in our room. Wembley hasn't said much, but I think he's been missing her lately.

 

[The Count]

*Heads to fridge for a glass of milk. Man, Ima gonna need this in the morning. Long slate of ridding posts. *Shuffles off to bed afterwards.

*Offscreen: Hey Uncle D, remember to strike that one guy would ya?
UD nods and obliges, a shot of blue lightning streaking off to its intended target.

*Mumbling... The guy left me no choice.
