To Uncle D: Yeah... Itsa wonder you don't take the lead for the Bah Humbug yourself. Good thing I'm hiding the good stuff for me 40th fiend. Inspiration has struck, finally decided, and I hope to have that worked on tomorrow with a bit of help of course. *Delighted gleam in his eye. Now to see if MuppetCast 91 is up and I can complete the podcast marathon in one single listening day.

 

[Ruahnna]

Piggy: Sweetie--would you hand me the remote? I want to rewind that scene again.
Kermit: Again? Piggy--you've already seen it 20 times tonight. (Sighs) Okay--here it is. (clicks remote)
Piggy: (whispering) Vous look very dashing in your red sweater, Kermie.
Kermit: (blushing) So you said.
Piggy: And snug pants!
Kermit: (scandalized) Piggy!
Ruahnna: (coming in from kitchen) Hi guys--what's on? (Watches for a moment.) Um, didn't we already watch this one tonight?
Kermit: (blushing) Um....
Ruahnna: (suddenly getting it) Oh! Piggy wants to see the scene where she gives you the slip at the door again, doesn't she?
Piggy: (haughtily) I don't know what you are--
Kermit: (interrupting) Um, actually it was me. I wanted to rewind it to get a look at Piggy in that gold dress again.
(Piggy sits up straighter in the recliner beside Kermit but doesn't dare look at him. Kermit turns and looks at Ru guilelessly.)
Kermit: And when I've done that, I'm going to rewind it and watch her strut by in her sundress.
(Piggy is now blushing furiously, but her face is radiant.)
Ruahnna: (suddenly realizing how superfluous she is) Oh. Well. I'm sure I have, um, something important to do, um, somewhere, um, else. (grabs laptop) I'll just, um, take my computer into my room and not come out--okay?
Kermit: Thank would be swell.
(They watch her scurry out, then Piggy turns and looks at Kermit with melting eyes.)
Piggy: Oh, Kermie--that was tres sweet of you.
(Kermit settles back into the corner of the recliner and puts both arms around Piggy.)
Kermit: You know, on second thought, I don't think I want to rewind any more tonight. I was thinking more along the lines of a fast forward....
(And after a moment, the only sounds coming from room 20 are snuggling, giggling...and typing.)

 

[Beakerfan]

A strange, supernatural force can be felt from within room 24... Alex, still laying on the couch, has been acting strange for days, much to the dismay and disrepair of her roommates.....

Suddenly, smoke begins to rise about the couch upon which Alex is laying. Slowly Alex levitates up off the couch and into a vertical position......

The lights go out.

A strum of a guitar.

A shout: ARE YOU READY TO ROCK'N'ROLL?

A spotlight shines on Alex to reveal her holding a guitar and wearing Paul Stanley's "Star Child" make-up and clothing.

A second spotlight reveals Sweetums wearing very heavy, drag-queen like make-up and torn pink and black leather resembling that of Dee Snider.

A third light shines on Rizzo as Richie Sambora. He wears a black wig and a black leather vest, and also carries a guitar.

Animal steps into the light, holding his drumsticks in an "X". He wears black leather pants and a gold armband, with Peter Criss' make-up.

Finally, Bean Bunny joins the group, wearing jeans, a white denim vest, and a pink bandana around his neck. He bears a guitar identical to that used by Eddie Van Halen.....

Alex: ALLRIGHT! Let's get this 80's hair metal party started! Whoo! *uncorks a bottle of sparkling cider and lets the cider spray all over the room*

Sweetums: *turns on Alex's 80's metal mix on her iTunes*

 

[Fragglemuppet]

Ah, music music everywhere, and not a thing to listen to. Still, it is kind of nice to hear things are going on in the dorms. *walks over to Ed's room.* Hi Ed, was wondering if you had anymore toffie for me and the fraggles? Thanks. *Sees Lefty.* Hey Lefty, I thought I heard somethin' about you taking over as lead singer of Scrooge and the Ba Humbugs. I should think it'd be a great honor. That is, of course, unless you don't think they're any good after all...

. *Puts down headphones. Finished MuppetCast 91...
Count: That's 5, 5 finished podcast episodes!
Yep... Now let's send some of Mom's brownies to thank them all.

Oh, I know, I've heard him singing the praises of the group before. But I mean, if he thinks the group is good now, then surely him joining it will only make it better! Besides, if he joins, the group can finally go on tour, and the rest of the world can hear how great they sound! You just tell him I said that. *says in a lower voice* Besides, if he's on tour, then you'll be rid of him for months at a time. Uh, don't tell him I said that, riiight.

In the meantime, two out of my three grades for last term are in! Of the two classes I thought I failed, I got a B in one and an A in the other! *Loud muppet and other music starts pumping from room 5.* Party in my room!

 

[Beakerfan]

Alex: Look man, this here just happens to be my man Peter Criss! *puts an arm around Animal*

Animal: *eats the pinecone*

Bean: *enters as Eddie Van Halen* Hey guys! *gives everyone high fives* Dude, Britney all the way. Like, i'm not really into any of this, but Britney is a bombshell, y'know what I'm saying?

 

[The Count]

*Turns off radio... All that can be heard is the tolling of the death bells... The death march music that belongs to ma champion of the night, the 'Taker starts up. When the seven dark angel chants end, a thunderclap rocks the stage. *Flames of blackest fire create a pillar of smoke, fanning down as they reveal... Uncle Deadly with a mask and extending dragonflame tongue, holding his organ-fashioned keytar as The Demon (Gene Simmons). Count is flanking the main man's other side, holding a groovy ghoulie base guitar, evil glowing stars as he's taken the role of Space Ace (Ace Breeley). As for me... *Turns around clutching the microphone to rock out as Alice Cooper.

Nora: (on sofa, re-reading Street Gang) So how was the council meeting?
Erin: (at computer) Well, it was the annual re-grouping meeting - gearing up for the new year.
Scooter: Oh, right...where the new members get sworn in...
Beige: Before they get sworn at.
Storyteller: Well, that's politics for you, I suppose. (looks at watch) Who's up for some ice cream, and something mindless to watch?

(gang settles in front of the tube a little while later, each with their preferred flavor of ice cream)
