Announcement

Note from MC Dorms Management:

Dreadfully sorry if this squashes the "fun" of some of you, but the majority or rather the events of last night involving Zoot, Caitlyn, and the Brave Little Toaster characters never happened. It seems that some people are taking advantage of the free spirit of the nature of this living environment. Yes, this is meant to be all Muppety, but I get a vibe that it goes overboard at times.
First of all, I have no objections over romantic meetings between roommates. But when you start posting about "making out", that's the line that shan't be crossed. Please remember this is after all a family-oriented atmosphere we're trying to promote.
Secondly, if you wish to bring in characters from other franchises, I would advise you contact me first to okay their temporary visitations.

That is all for now. Thank you for your attention.
And bear in mind that the dorms will be closing down in a month's time for the annual anniversary procedures.

*Downstairs... Hey guys... Time for dinner.
The fiendly occupants of Room #1 sit at the table with plenty to drink and some over-glorified hot dogs, Italian sausage sandwiches with tomatoes and onions and peppers.

*Turns on the Disney Pincast so we can listen while we eat.

Erin: Grew up and stopped behaving like a child. Ouch.
Beige: So is it really true that people are supposed to give up their imaginations once they hit adulthood?
Scooter: If it were, Jim and all the others would be in a completely different line of work.
Nora: Not a pleasant thought. (phone rings) Hello...oh, hi, Heather...yes, I'll chip in some money for you and your scout rafting trip...(mutters under breath) Little con artist.
Storyteller: Oh, don't be such a sourpuss, Nora...wait a minute, does something smell like smoke?
Erin: Oh, sorry, that's me. I had to cover a fire this afternoon.
Scooter: Really - was Crazy Harry involved?
Erin: Nope - some guys were refinishing the floor in some apartment, and they were using lots of varnish, and someone left the pilot light on the gas stove on...
Nora: So they did a bang-up job, then.
Beige: Wow...you know, down in the Cave, we used to pick huge chunks of Cave moss, cover them with rumblebug saliva, and take them down to the Fire Caverns and...
Storyteller: (groan) Now, people, do you really think this is funny? Someone could have been hurt.

(knock at door)

Scooter: I'll get it. (opens door) Oh, hiding from Marvin, are you...what?
Nora: What's going on?
Scooter: Uh, the Muppaphone says his name's Scooter.

*Downstairs... Man, I love that Pincast show. Rully glad I started listening to it after John Rick's appearance on Steve's MuppetCast.
*Sets to thinking of the Halloween 2008 Muppet pin I'd design.
*Uncle D scoops up the dragonish-jawed Muppaphone, while Count gets the lavenderish one wearing a monacle and green cape and the one for Ed.

Um Erin? Got another flave question for you. Trying to decide, you think Relished Picklings would suit the Grouchkeeper (Oscar turned into the Cryptkeeper)?

*Listening to MC Radio. *Vigorous organ introplays. Ah, another classic from my namesake, with Baby Natasha... Good to know we can count on him.
*Keeps listening while the fiends are running errands at the theater and the market.

(Message to Ailie and Caitlyn - wow. I'm amazed at how quickly you guys can fill up several pages on this thread in one day.)

(Message to Ed. Go with the pickles, definitely.)

Beige: (dozing on sofa) Hmm...what's this about pages and pickles?
Erin: Oh, nothing. Go back to sleep.
Scooter: (entering with popcorn) Move over first - "Muppet Gladiators" is on.
Nora: Ooh, wonder if they're still using the catapult and the extreme pie fight.
Storyteller: Might I recommend "Monsterpiece Theater" instead.
Erin: No, tonight's a rerun of "39 Steps."
Beige: (muttering) I'm not sure it was 39 steps - one of those steps was a half-inch shorter, so it's 38 and a half...no, 38.49999...
Nora: Oh, picky, picky. (glances up) Hey, Caitlyn, Lips, what's the deal with the dog act?

*Snatches pizza out of the ovens. Too bad he didn't show up tonight either, especially what with the brief storming outside. Oh well... *Offers one of the hogie pizzas cut in quarters as hors d'eurvs while tuning in to catch a snipet of Muppets of the Caribbean.

Wonder if Prawny got that PM I sent him. Uncle D, could you please go check on him?
*UD nods and leaves the room to skulk around in search of the weirdo.
Mmm... Good rainy sort of batmosphere, it's growing from late summer into early fall. Think I'll finish off that last Alphabet Murder Mystery book i was meaning to read for the last year, the R-titled one.
*Pops off to listen to his audio books while the fiends busy themselves otherwise.
