Beth: Boy, since we've been back from Sesame Street I've barely had time to do anything! This is a busy week, we've got Thanksgiving
Red: And then your birthday
Beth: That is true. So what do you all want to do for Thanksgiving? You're all welcome to come home with me
Red: I'm in
Mokey: Me too
Abby: I'm going to be in the parade and then home to my mommy and daddy's
Beth: I can't wait to see you in the parade Abby, I'm sure it will be great
Wanda: I'll go home with you too Beth
Beth: Sounds good, we'll come back on Friday

*Gets a blinking light on the phone messaging machine.

Hmmm, something here from Bryan. *Listens, dials, and answers his query.
Hi Bry... Not sure if there'll be a Thanksgiving dinner here at the dorms, most everybody will be feasting with their own families you know. Could bring some goodies from home and we could all contribute some dishes from those lavish lunches for the party on Sunday for Beth though.
At any rate, hope you have a good Thanksgiving week.

Storyteller: So, what's everyone doing over break?
Erin: The family and I will have the traditional feed, and then head to New York the day after.
Nora: We're expecting relatives in from New Hampshire.
Scooter: This year, we're celebrating at my aunt and uncle's place.
Beige: As you know, Storyteller, there is that big feast down at the Rock...
Storyteller: Yes, and I'm supposed to recite some poetry...
Beige: Don't recite the Ode to Garlic - it'll give us all acid reflux.
Scooter: Yeah, but it'll keep the vampires away. (pause) Except for the Count, that is - he's immune.
Erin: And let's see...oh, that's right, as soon as we return, there's another birthday to plan for, isn't that right, Nora?
Nora: Oh, yeah...I kinda forgot.
Beige: You what?
Nora: I'm sorry, I'm sorry - it's just that, well, between one thing and another...
Scooter: It's kind of been a rough month, we know.

Herry: We have a float to get to.

Murray: In New York.

Bruce: Yep.

Oh yea. I had almost forgot about that. I'll drive ya'll to HensonVille Airport. *walking out the door to see a familar grouch with a suitcase* You going too?

Oscar: I have to. It's either that or hear Maria or Luis. "Your such a grouch, Oscar."

But doesn't everyone say that?

Oscar: Yeah but i love to hear them tell me.

Well then. Hop a borad the Kyle transportation.

Oscar: Alright. But no happyness.

Grover: Oh grouchie.

Beige: (hearing the whir of the mixer) What's going on?
Nora: We're making cookies.
Beige: Oooh! (runs into kitchen) What kind?
Scooter: (rummaging in cupboard for something) Cranberry, orange and...wait, what else are we putting in?
Erin: (searching for eggs) Walnuts. Nora, if you would start measuring the dry ingredients, and Scooter, if you would start zesting a few oranges...
Storyteller: (checking contents of mixer) No one's going to be here on the big day, so we'll have a little pre-celebration treat, I suppose.
Beige: I'm hip to that.
Scooter: Yeah, you and Cookie Monster. (starts to zest two oranges)
Erin: (chuckle) Don't you know it. Nora, what's the temperature on the oven? (cracks eggs into mixer bowl)
Nora: We're almost at 325.

Well... Now that the latest installment of Numbervania's been posted.
*Goofy smile on the Count's face after reading it all.
Time to kick back and enjoy some Old School Volume 2!
Count: Wha?
UD: Quite easily surprised, isn't he?
Yes, it arrived yesterday... Come on, we can watch a couple of episodes today and then enjoy the Thanksgiving feast with our family tomorrow.

*Puts the disc in the DVD machine and presses play, calls for our Sprite sodas three and our bowls of caramelized nuts three as we all sit down on the comfy creepy couch.

Prairie sitting on my bed as I throw some clothes in a small suitcase:Bet you're looking forward to tomorrow, huh Kath?
Yeah...even though it'll be for only a couple of days,it'll be nice. I'll get to see my brother, sister in law,the baby,my favorite aunt and my stepuncle.
Prairie:Great!
The only thing is that we'll be having lasagna for Thanksgiving dinner instead of turkey and all the trimmings.
Prairie: But I thought you love lasagna!
Oh..I do...don't get me wrong! It's just that I'm used to turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes..you know, all that stuff on Thanksgiving.
Prairie:I understand.Tell you what.I'll fix a special plate for you tomorrow. That way when you come back on Saturday, you can have some Thanksgiving goodies!
Prairie....that wouldn't be fair to your family if there's stuff left over and they want it.
Prairie:Kath...I'm serious. By Saturday,my family gets sick of leftover Thanksgiving stuff. If my mom was standing right here she'd BEG you to take the leftovers! And I'm sure Rosita will have leftover stuff too.
All right...you win!

Beth *hugs Abby* You have fun on the float tomorrow with the Sesame Street crew.
Abby: Thanks!
Red: I can't wait to see what the balloon they made to look like you will turn out!
Abby: Me too. Happy Thanksgiving! *leaves to go down where her mom is waiting in a cab going to the airport*
Wanda: Ok, so what time are we heading to your home Beth?
Beth: Let's try to be ready around 4:00. I have choir practice tonight and I still have pies to bake too.
Mokey: I'm ready anytime.
Red: I'm not, I still gotta pack! *starts running around frantically*
Beth: Never a dull moment around here. It's two days Red, you don't need to pack that much!
