Beth: Hmm, I thought we were supposed to move in today, no registry posted yet...oh well, just wait for my roomies to show up.

Bryan: I guess maybe we're not moving in today like I thought we were. It would be nice to atleast get a key so I can unload my car. It's a scorcher today! Where's Ed?

Erin: (on phone) Nora, hold short. I think there's some kind of delay with the move-in.
Nora: What? But my brother is lecturing me on the dangers of hanging out with "weirdoes," and the twins are trying to build a reciprocating engine out of soda bottles, old sink pipes, baking soda and cod liver oil!
Erin: Nora, listen, if there's no move-in tonight, you're welcome to camp out at my alternate digs until we're ready. And might I recommend investing in a good flak jacket and army-grade helmet. (hangs up)
Storyteller: So, are we ready?
Erin: Not sure yet.
Storyteller: Mmm...oh, well, did I tell you about the Fraggle born with his tail on his head?

Herry: But why isn't the doors open?

*sees Bryan* Hey Bryan. What's going?

Oscar: *wearing his old taxi cab cap* They better have my trashcan ready. I'm ready for all my trash to be delivered. I'm having Bruno bring it all in his dump truck.

Grover: Do not worry grouchie. We will get in sooner or later. Or is that later or sooner? I forgot.

*Claudia sits on the sofa looking out her window “Beakie, you do know you can sleep over. You do live pretty far and it’s gettin’ late.”She offers happily, getting up to get him a cup of chocolate milk and adding some chocolate chip cookies “Meep?” He asks appearing relaxed for the first time since ever “Of course!” She cries “Since we’ve got the day off—it seems…we can do some cool stuff!” she throws herself back on the sofa energetically. Beaker gasps in surprise but manages to remain collected “Mee!” Claudia giggles lightly “Yah, a walk is one way to have fun!” She looks thoughtful as she says this before skipping out of the house “Come on!” Beaker shrugs and goes along with her little fun.*

Nora: (taking sleeping bag) Thanks for letting me in. My siblings haven't blown up the house yet, but I didn't want to be there when they did.
Erin: No problem. Here - (hands Nora a mug) have some chamomile tea. It'll help you relax a bit.
Nora: Thanks...wonder what happened today?
Erin: Well, it's been a loony day - there was probably something that kept Ed from posting the registry. Things happen, you know?
Nora: I suppose.
Erin: It's the way of things. (pours her own mug of chamomile tea) But things will be up and running again soon, I imagine.

Catherine: Hey guys--any word on when the dorms are reopening?
Kermit: No--I haven't heard a thing.
Fozzie: Me either.
Kermit: In fact, it's been quiet all day.
Catherine: Yeah--it's been a lovely, lazy day. Did you and Piggy have a nice time?
Kermit: (staring at Catherine in some confusion) Um, a nice time where?
Catherine: (puzzled) I don't know--I thought she was with you.
Kermit: No--she had an interview of some sort right before lunch, but I haven't seen her since she left. Fozzie?
Fozzie: We thought she was with you?
Catherine: That's so strange. School is about to start--the dorms are about to reopen. I wonder where Piggy could be?

 

[G-MAN]

(Gererd comes rushing in)
Me: Am I late for the Dorm Opening?
Rizzo: No, they haven't opened yet, and what took you so long?
Pepe: Yeah, we was expecting you earlier, Hokay?
Me: I was hanging around my non-dorm home celebrating Labor Day by watching my Muppet Show DVDs, by the way, I loved you guys on the Telethon.
Pepe: Well, naturally everbody loved us, or at least me, hehehe!
Rizzo: Oh can it shrimp.
Pepe: I am not a shrimp, I am a King Prawn, Hokay!
Me: Gee, I take a "year" off and everything's pretty much stayed the same, with my roommates anyway.

 

[Gloat]

Adam: *wakes up in sleeping bag outside the college, yawns* Still not open? *gets out of sleeping bag and walks to the front of the building, seeing it still closed* Maybe management is busy, looks like we're here another night guys *turns around to see them asleep in a box* .... asleep? Ya must be joking! They never sleep wen they have a chance to annoy people! *they're asleep! Get over it!* .... Oh fine

Beth: Gee, I hope Ed's ok
*Red and Mokey approach together loaded up with bags*
Beth: Hey girls! Glad you made it, but I guess we're not moving in just yet, I don't know where Ed is at and I'm getting a little concerned
Mokey: Oh I'm sure he'll turn up eventually. Good to see you *hugs Beth*
Beth: Good to see you too! I'm excited that you'll be back with us this year
Red: Me too, I just don't like being away from my best friend
Mokey: I know how you feel. So look, I brought these lovely drawings to hang in our room. Are our other roomies here yet?
Beth: Not yet, but I'm sure they'll be here soon
Red: So now what?
Beth: I think we just wait
