MN: Well, our train did stop at Newcastle on the way up to Scotland, so we couldn't have been too far from the hall. We waved as we came in over the Tyne.
Storyteller: And Fughetta heard a GNER train come through there around noon or so...
Nora: That would have been us.
Storyteller: So she and the others waved, just in case.

UD: Ah, that's good to hear. As is the melodious manglings coming from inside the room I'm sharing for the week. Was unusual to find the door locked last night, but the Count assured me all was fright with our master.
Hi Uncle Deadly... Sorry about last night. So to make up for it, what say we run over to review Catherine's Kermie's Girl?
UD: *In the reading room, you don't have to ask me twice. Already there my fiend.

Summer vacations have officially started for me and everybody around here. So hexpect fanfic nagging guys and gals.

*Flees off to go call the pizza place and get Muppet DVD's loaded in the TV console in the first floor's common room.

*Bats splash Red and Wanda with water balloons, while Cookie opens his mouth and eats the water balloon instead.

Pizza's here... Pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, black olives, garlic... And there's the half-pineapple and half-anchovy. Mmm!
OK, Muppet Movie cued in the deck... 10 minutes before the first break.
Count, what's our stat?
Count: In the tube, 5-6-7-8.
OK, gotta go talk to Uncle Deadly.
*Spots Doozers working on moving the plastic cups closer to the soda punch bowl.

Hey Cotterpin. Any chewed doozersticks? Just the one that goes back to the bottles? But you got that covered? Good, that's why you Doozers are the best.

*Uncle Deadly hums a light airy fugue tune. Come on UD, movie's on.
UD: Coming *Slips Pizza Monster Grover the bills and carries the stack of pies back to the common room before sitting down to watch the Muppets watching themselves.

Wanda *drying off*: Man, I don't think I have gone one whole day being completely dry since Ryan started that balloon fight last week
Red: I know, isn't it great?
Cookie: Water balloon wet, not so tasty though

Ah... And here it is... My true first day of summer vacation.
You can feel the gentle breeze... Not to mention the humidity, making you know it's late springish/summerlike.

Count: Ah ha! So many movies and nights to vatch each one!
UD: And such fine Muppety feature films they are.

Mmm... In a groovier moodsince I've been listening to MC Radio again. Heard some I'd never heard before.
UD: Yes, I rather liked that one with Mac Wilson.
Count: Always enjoy it when there's a song by the Dead Hensons.

Yeah... Come on guys, gotta drop these sunshine pops and radish bars at Beth's room.
UD: Wanda told me she'd be at the pool.
*All three twirl around and are instantly in beachwear with swimming trunks. Uncle Deadly has our towels in the totebag and Count's bringing my innertube as I've got my hands full with trays of the sunshine pops and radish bars for all at the pool.

*Thunderclap strikes as soon as we enter the poolhouse.
Hey Beth! You here? Wanted to thank you and brought something for all to share while playing around in the pool.
UD: Now, to seek the best secluded shadowy section... Ah, fright here.
*Places towels and digs around for the travel-along radio tuned to our MC station. Hmmm, an ad for Jim's Coffee House. How nice.
