(Kermit steps outside the door of room 20 and retrieves the mail. He is immediately ambushed, mugged for the day's mail and left sitting on the floor by a pig blur and a red-headed one.)
Kermit: Wha....?
Piggy: Something for you!
Catherine: (squealing) Did it come? Did it come?
Piggy: Open it! Open it NOW!
(Catherine tears open the package and squeals.)
Catherine: They're here! They're here! Oh--look, Piggy--it's you! And Kermit! Oh! Oh--you look so beautiful! Wow--and look at Kermit.
Kermit: Forget "look at Kermit." How about "help Kermit." The frog is down! I repeat, the frog is down!
(Catherine and Piggy rush to assist. Catherine hauls him up and Piggy dusts him off--perhaps with a little more attention to detail that is strictly necessary. Kermit blushes and stammers just a little.)
Kermit: Thank you, that's--oh, yes. Thank you, um, yes. I think I'm, um, good now. Yes.
Catherine: Sorry! I just got excited! Look what I bought with birthday money! Look! Look!
Kermit: Oh wow. These look...wow. I'd forgotten about these. (He smiles at Piggy.) Do you remember posing for these?
Piggy: (serenely) I remember posing for ALL of our dolls and decorations.
Kermit: Where did you get these?
Catherine: Internet. Oh--oh! Well, they were from my family. With birthday money.
Piggy: What are you going to do with them?
Catherine: Um, display them where I can look at them. Just think, I can put them where I can see them and look at the two of you together any time.
(THere is a thoughtful silence and Kermit and Piggy look at each other quickly. Piggy is quicker on the uptake.)
Piggy: Um, where did you get that handsome model of Kermit?
Catherine: (Absently) The internet.
Piggy: Is the, um, address where you ordered these saved anywhere on the computer?
Catherine: What? Oh--oh, yes. Probably.
(Kermit is sidling for the computer table. Piggy takes a step forward and he makes a break for it. They race each other to the computer.)
(Catherine looks up and finds herself alone.)
Catherine: Huh. Wonder where they went?
(She takes her new models happily back to her room.)
