I know Mike Nelson or Joel Hodgson and their robot pals never sat foot on Sesame Street, but I've been thinking how wonderful it would've been if there was a special revolving around the main cast of MST3K (Mike or Joel, Tom Servo, Crow, Gypsy) visiting Sesame Street, while MST3K was still airing in the 90s.

Like what if it was along the lines of specials like Big Bird in China, or Big Bird's Birthday Bash?

Or if it were just a series of an episodic special, such as Slimey in Space, Hurricane in Sesame Street, Maria and Luis get married, etc.

If it did happen, I would've love to see Mike, Tom, and Crow teach Big Bird and friends the ways of talking back at movies. XD

Anyway, if there such an episode, what do you guys think would happen?

Indeed! Mike/Joel would have to keep the bots low-key for "the children", but it'd be great! The human and the bots land on SST, think they can avoid watching movies, but Cookie gives them the entire run of Monsterpiece Theater ...

Heh, they couldn't avoid watching movies even when the S.O.L. crashlanded back on Earth in the final episode and Tom and Crow ended up living with Mike at his Minnesotan apartment.

Forest Tucker, oh, he's the guy who goes around making sure all the trees shirts are tucked in.

"That trash can feels mushy"...I can just hear it. (Yes, I watched "San Francisco Intl" just last night.)

Gawd, what a wicked idea, Ed! Funnily enough, the first time I showed my late dad (well, he wasn't late at the time...maybe a little lit) MST 3K, his first comment was, "Those are fantastic puppets!" -- which really threw me, because I had NEVER thought of the 'bots as puppets! Same way one doesn't think of any of the Muppets that way. It might work. Anyone wanna tackle a script? Eeek! :concern:
