In all honesty, the Arthur fandom has really gone south in recent years, so much so that people are voluntarily walking away from the fandom and trying to avoid it altogether, because it's become overrun with polluted with trolls.

The Arthur fandom is similar to Muppet Freaks in a lot of ways: many of them are fans who simply never grew up (as Tough Pigs is noted for saying), but then there are fans out there who never grew up for the wrong reasons: now, I don't mean this to be derogatory towards a certain group of people out there, but there's a number of fans who are, let's just say "special needs" - they're adults, but they have the mentality of kids, so that becomes a problem for others. For instance, there are two very infamous trolls among the Arthur fandom who have all but given the entire fandom a permanent black eyes, and one of them is someone Drtooth will know who I'm talking about: he's on deviantART, and he basically posts nothing but MS Paint tracings of screen shots and puts the characters in bathing suits (yes, Drtooth, the guy with the fetish with the hershey kiss nipples), and often times harasses other people like that one kid you knew in school who was so obnoxious that you actually wished somebody would lock him in a locker. Then there's supposedly a troll over at fanfiction.net who apparently has a fetish for writing about the characters losing their genitals in one way or another, and this is all he writes about, and he apparently has like hundreds of these kinds of stories . . . I heartell some say, based on his profile picture, the he even looks like a pedophile.

And then there's certain trolls who really contribute nothing to the fandom at all, but they keep hanging around, & t@lk l!k3 t#!$ @11 t#3 t!m3, because they have nothing better to do. I'll be honest, I actually moderate an Arthur fan forum (for adult fans, mind you), but I don't really have much to do with it anymore because we keep losing so many of our legit members over problems like this - it's like no matter what outlet you go to for the franchise, there's more trolls than there are legit fans. Really, the best place there ever was for Arthur fans was Hubert's old Elwood City Central forum, but that guy has never returned from his "break" like three or four years ago . . . it's almost like he was deja vu of That Announcer: we never heard from that guy again, and he was pretty much singlehandedly responsible for coaxing many of us MC old timers out of our shells over a decade ago when there was still an almost kind of shyness among the community.

Being on tumblr, I've seen the worst sides of a lot of fandoms, but I gotta say I am truly terrified of the Steven Universe and Undertale fandoms. The former harassed a girl into attempting suicide because she drew something the fans didn't like, then attacking the show's staff for not supporting their flawed logic that its ok to bully someone and send death threats because they did something you dont like. If you want some more details AlphaOmegaSin did a youtube video on it. Yes. The situation got that bad that it got the attention of people outside of tumblr.

The Undertale fandom...god where do I even begin. Death threats for not agreeing with your headcanons and ideas, death threats for 'calling the main character the wrong gender' when the creator himself said the character is whatever you want them to be. Then theres this weird group of them who are against people who are against hatred towards certain groups? I dunno...the fandom is just putrid.

You got to love the logic of the fanbase there. Here we have a show about love with a hateful fanbase. The fact they pretty much don't even get the show's philosophy and act in a way the main character of the show would never condone just goes to show you how horrible the internet can be. It was one thing when they were acting like a bunch of babies over the Uncle Grandpa crossover that the creator of Steven Universe personally requested, but that's too far. I'm glad the show's staff stepped in.

^ spreading of fandoms who have a lot of hate though the show teaches love. the MLP: FiM fanbase is that way as well.. so the Undertale fanbase.
Never I repeat NEVER insult their beloved sans or Mettaton. They will KILL you. Also for some reason they REALLY REALLY hate five nights at freddy's and even sent death threats to the FNAF creator. I don't like FNAF myself but that is UNACCEPTABLE! They're video games for crying out loud!

The Touhou fandom is pretty normal, but back on 2009 there were trolls that would go on the video for U.N. Owen was Her and say that ZUN stole the theme from the McRoll.

tumblr evidentally has absolutely no rules whatsoever, so I guess people feel it's okay to go crazy as much as they want.

That and it's full of NSFW stuff too, lol.
Yeah, i'm on Tumblr and pretty much just post things related to cartoons,Doctor Who, The Muppets, Marvel, things like that. But for some reason I have more than a few porn blogs following me.
