Most Annoying TV Series Ever?

ADVENTURE TIME, not necessarily for the show itself, but its fanbase, which is mostly uneducated kids who automatically think every single fricken animated movie or series that came before it that feature two characters (particularly a human and animal companionship) going on adventures is, "Where ADVENTURE TIME came from." Seriously. Somehow, Rocky and Bullwinkle, TWICE UPON A TIME, Wallace and Gromit, H.R. PUFNSTUF, Tintin, and even Tom Terrific are all, "Where ADVENTURE TIME came from."
I've never really faced that problem, but you can't blame a show for the fanbase. Besides, true fans know what the influences are because they were stated by the creator. Jake is supposedly based on Bill Murray's character in Meatballs, and that's straight from the horse's mouth.

HOWEVER, on that note, I'll do you one worse.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Not for the show, but BOTH the rabid fanbase and the rabid detractors. They're both equally obnoxious and toxic. One side pushes everyone on the show and obsesses about the characters, the other side thinks that all the fans are pedos, or furries, or something that's essentially pulling fandom Godwin's Law, like it's the only series ever to inspire toon fetish porn...Like Rescue Rangers (Gadget), Heathcliff (Cleo), and Sonic the Hedgehog (everyone but Eggman) never existed. I'd say the detractors are just a bit more annoying, not letting people like the darn thing alone like adults.

Meanwhile, it scares off people like me who will watch virtually anything and kinda dig the show in a "spot the reference" way, but not watching it on a regular basis, watching it over a favorite show, or buying the toys, or anything like that. You're either a Brony or not, and there's no room for "heh, this show is actually pretty cool in a girls cartoons usually suck, they really made this so parents won't bash their heads for a half hour, I vastly prefer Transformers Prime anyway."

I've never actually watched MARTHA SPEAKS, but I kind of have to agree, seeing the promos often, Martha does seem kind of annoying... interestingly, I think she was voiced by the same woman who originally voiced Nazz on ED, EDD N EDDY.

FOSTER'S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS pretty much marked the beginning of the end of Cartoon Network as we knew it... just about every new CN series to follow pretty much fell flat as well.
For me it's camp lazoo

I'm not terribly familiar with that show, but from what I can glean, it was an attempt from Joe Murray to go in the complete opposite direction from the first show he created: Rocko's Modern Life. Now I fully admit that my love for RML could be coming completely from a 'nostalgia goggles' point of view, but RML was a great show that was enjoyable without being pandering, which like I said goes in the exact opposite direction of Camp Lazlo.

The problem is that even when a creator signs on to another show, that doesn't mean the same talent is a given. He had most of the same voice actors, sure (no Charlie Adler, though), but without the same writers, it couldn't possibly be as funny. Those writers have since been on and left Spongebob (which is why the humor of Early Spongebob episodes is similar to Rocko).

All and all, it's different in tone, but it's not close to as funny as Rocko was. However, I gained respect for the series because of the last episode where Scout Master Lumpus is exposed as an escaped mental patient who kidnapped the real Scout Master... a male cow voiced by Tom Kenny... and you know who I'm talking about.

Other than that, it was one of the barely hit, mostly miss shows CN had at the time that lead to the end of the Cartoon Cartoons. The Gym Partner is a Monkey show, however, completely unwatchable unless you're an immature 8 year old.

Lewis Black did a guest voice on it, so it must have some merit.

I've seen at least 3 episodes of it, and it's all jokes about Monkey Butts. It was a very stupid show. And not even divine stupid like Cow and Chicken and Uncle Grandpa that revels in its own stupidity making it brilliantly nonsensical. It was just juvenile and dumb.

I've seen a couple of episode of Camp Lazlo, and I agree that it's pretty underwhelming. Watchable, but underwhelming.

I've watched several episodes of it, and the only one I really liked was the last one.

Somehow, it seems like a recursive Spongebob wanna be. If they had stronger writers, the show would have been much better. Yeah, that whole Lazlo/Squirrel Boy/Gym Partner era was a wash. You almost can't blame them for wanting to get rid of the Cartoon Cartoons with that weak line up. Chowder and Flapjack tried to change things, but they purposely screwed up then for the live action shows that were worse that NO ONE liked.

I'm sooooo tempted to say "How I Met Your Mother" after that horrible ending. Best I can do is pretend it never happened and still like the series, but not be compelled to ever watch it again. Seriously... talk about unfair. I sat through all those dumb filler episodes for that? You go all Dragon Ball Z with this season, and make such a middle finger as an ending? Really?

But I'd hate to say anything negative about the series because of that.

Now, I'll say NCIS because I find it rather unfair that it constantly has to beat out SHIELD in the ratings because SHIELD's target demo is highly disappointed by it not living up to some fanfic expectation (SHIELD was never supposed to be a super hero based thing anyway) so automatically it's the worst thing ever. All the while, NCIS humps the same repetitive, flat, pathetic "Warz on teh Terrorisms" plotline that should have died out long ago. So a show that doesn't live up to expectations is losing to a show that has none. And as a result, ABC would oblige to cancel SHIELD for yet another dating/dancing reality show no one really likes but watches anyway.

Also Last Man Standing. It just...it just sucks. Tim Allen is completely unlikable and comes off as a complete jerk. And it's a weak lead in to the underrated Neighbors which gets NO marketing at all. LMS is adored by the network, Neighbors is going to be screwed by it.

I hate to get back to Will & Grace, but I feel the same way about its finale that you feel about the HIMYM finale. And I'm with you on NCIS, but for a different reason. Ziva is one of the cattiest grating characters in TV history. All she does is complain about her co-workers. Well, little missy, no one's holding a gun to your head to stay. If Gibbs and Co. irritate you so much, then ask for a transfer!
