Debating if I genuinely want to see this in theaters when it comes out as I am NOT a fan of going to movie theaters much anymore, that said this does sound promising.

I genuinely hope this one doesn’t get canned. Even just making this straight to streaming could still save it if need be.

I’d love to see an entire movie surrounding our fabulous diva pig herself. It would be an absolute shame (but not a surprising one either I guess) if it were to just get the axe because I definitely see a lot of potential here.

I'm all for a Piggy centered story, and have really missed her as a multi dimensional character. That said I am a little bit nervous about outsourcing someone else to write said story. I know Jim Lewis has officially retired from writing for the Muppets but they still have wonderful writers who understand the depth of these characters. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love both the 2011 Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted, but even those seemed like celebrity fan fics. If Disney wanted to go the fan fic route then they should look on these forums where once upon a time we had some absolutely wonderful stories being released.
Lastly, I think that to do a proper Piggy story Frank Oz has to have some input. Out of the Muppet performers still living he is the most character driven one, who really made Piggy who we all know and love today. So I'm hopeful that if this gets made they try to include Frank.

*SIDE NOTE* I haven't talked about the Muppets on here in so long, and it feels so good to be back and talking Muppets.
