I'm really happy for him. I believe he was fairly judged by ajury of his peers. Now I do believe he needs to work on his image and make a sucessful come back. Good show, Michael; good show.

What I believe the problem was is not in the case, but in Michael himself. He doesn't fit the societal norm for a male pop star. His personality is not exactly that of, say, Chad Kroeger's (the lead singer of Nickelback) and so he is judged to be a weirdo. The Jackson detractors just say he is. They provide no evidence of this usually, and when they do provide evidence of this, it's usually either scanty or incorrect- like mistaking his skin disorder for bleaching because they've never seen anyone with that skin disorder before, or calling him gay because he can sing high. (Hey, didn't a lot of the Jackson detractors grow up listening to Frankie Valli and not calling him gay?)

The man is normal. I think anyone who really hates him (like everyone in my family but me) should give the evidence a very hard look and make a critical decision. I did.

Well I was expecting this to be the verdict. Celebrities almost always get a pass (eg. OJ Simpson and Robert Blake). The jurors are fascinated with them and they can afford the hugely expensive lawyers. But I don't agree with the verdict. A man in his forties sleeping with boys is just sick. Plus, he paid $19 million to a boy's family in 1993 that accused him of this. And by his own admission he paid off other accusers. Now some say it's understandable because he just wanted to get this off his back and out of the media. But I can't see that at all. If someone ever falsely accused me of such a disgusting thing I would never give them a penny no matter how wealthy I was. Also, I think there was a lot of other evidence of bad things against Michael that wasn't permitted to be introduced. And also, I think there are a lot of other things about Michael that show he has major problems, such as the holding the baby over the balcony incident.
That's my take on it. Hope I didn't make any enemies with these comments but I got to speak my heart and mind honestly.

Actually Ziffel, you just reminded me of another argument used by the JDs. (Oh, and this is in NO WAY directed at you. Mainly at my father, actually.)

Often it is said that "Jackson is a weirdo- he dresses his kids in veils and held a baby out over a balcony. Therefore, he did that to that boy."

Well, I'm overweight and have a tiny attention span. That does not automatically mean that I'll be arrested at some point in my life, not by a long shot. Just because a person is nuts one way doesn't mean they are nuts another way.

Great News! I woke up to this news this morning and was very happy. I just hope that he can get back to his normal life. The poor guy has been through so much and it could still end up killing him or ruining his career because of all the stress, if it does I hope someone severely punishes that kid He needs to be slapped over the face many times with a cold wet fish.

I knew that he was innocent, strange but innocent of those crimes. Its only sick people who want to believe that he did the things he was accused of.
