Agreed, especially now. He's been proven innocent, but this will always be sadly associated with him. I would like to see him have a final hurrah, a big performance, concert or album (but I don't know if he could pull that off) and see him leave the lime light in a blaze of glory and then retire quietly. MJ's a legend and it kills me that he's so in the public eye so far past his prime.

On a side note; I'm sure he was just thoroughly exhausted and that's why he was so emotionless (that and it's rumored he was medicated to calm down from all the stress) but I was praying and thinking it'd be so cool if he moon-walked out of the court room to his car!

I knew all along he did'nt do it but i still think he was foolish to sleep with children.I do feel however michael jackson is picked on too often for his appearence and beliefs and its getting quite old and humorless.I mean every body has their closet of strange ideas he's just more open with his.But he does need to start acting like a man whos turning 50 soon and not a 10 yr old.

He hasn't been proved innocent. He's been found not guilty by a jury who contended that there wasn't enough evidence to convict him. We don't know what happened for sure in that bedroom. I believe he is guilty and you believe he is innocent. But just wanted to make the point that a jury's decision doesn't necessarily mean the person was innocent or guilty. They, being humans, can be wrong anyway. Like in the O.J. Simpson case, in 1995 a jury found him not guilty and in 1997 a jury found him guilty. Either he did it or he didn't. One jury was correct and one was incorrect. But even if both found him not guilty that still doesn't necessarily mean that he was innocent, nor that the jurors even believe he was innocent, but rather that they didn't think there was enough evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

Okay, fair enough, but the system did declare him "not guilty", so regardless of personal feelings, he did go through the motions just like anyone else would. The system may not be perfect, but I still believe in it.

I agree with that. For all the flaws of the system, I still esteem and appreciate it. Also, no disrepect or offense was intended to you Vic, though I don't think I need to say that because it doesn't sound like you took it that way.

Side note: I just looked out the window here and saw TWO birds that look like bluejays. How cool is that?!
