Well, here goes nothing...

*Spoken: To cardboards.
You remind me of the baby.
What baby?
The baby with the power.
What power?
The power that you do.
Who do?
You do.
Do what?
Remind me of the baby.

:sing:
I saw my baby.
Crying hard as babe could cry.
What could I do?

My baby's love had gone.
And left my baby bluuuue.
*Shaking head upwards: Nobody knew.

What kind of magic spell to use?
UD: Slime and snails.
Me: Or puppy dog tails.
Count, a little deeply: Thunder or lightning.
Me: And baby said...

Chorus: Dance magic, dance.
Me: Dance magic, dance.
Chorus: Dance magic, dance.
Me: Dance magic, dance.
Put that magic spell on me.
Chorus: Jump magic, jump.
Me: Jump magic, jump.
Chorus: Jump magic, jump.
Me: Jump magic, jump.
Put that magic jump on me.
UD: Slap that babe, let him free!

*As the song progresses, light dawns. Oh-ho, it might be instructions.
We all dance, Count and UD create their own magic, we dance again.
We all jump next, followed by more magic, followed by a second jump.
UD slaps the baby, sending him free from the shackles.

*All continue the musical number oblivious to the fact as whether we solved the puzzle or not.

*The hedges connected to the slapped baby lower. A new path continues on.*

Hoggle (wipes his brow): Meh. Took long enough. *chuckles* I once heard of an underground place that had a movin' disco ball thing that kept sayin' this riddle, only it weren't a riddle at all. :stick_out_tongue:

Count: Mmm, I believe Herkimer vas its caretaker. Erin and those of the RHLC probably know him better than we do.

*All walk along after Hoggle, curious to find what's next.
Say, d'ya hear that little bell?
*A trolley dings and appears, ready to convey the travellers.

Magic Voice: Welcome to Goblin Lolly-Trolleys. Please keep all arms and legs inside the car at all times. Oh, and here's your next riddle, but be warned as it has a curve at the end.

*The trolley zooms after four others: Scub, Spittledrum, Stank, and Sir Diddymus board.
Magic Voice: The trolley leaves from its station...
*Trolley goes off on its crazy careening course, twisting and turning here and there.
It stops and two passengers get off while five more get on.
It continues, and next seven get off and none get on.
It follows, and this time four get on.
It pursues the path until one last passenger gets on and four get off.
It reaches another point, where only one gets off.
It keeps chugging, until finally the first four get off.

Now here's the question... How many stops did the trolley make?

Hoggle (thinks a bit): I don't knows how the others got on, but ya only said it stopped once.

UD: No... Saying "stop" makes no difference. *Picks self up from where the trolley dumped us at the end of its track, waiting for the answer so we can continue.

Hoggle (growls): I can't stand these types o' riddles.

OOC: This is what I get for making that last one so hard, LOL.

Hoggle: Uh, first it has ta stop ta get the first four, then it appears ta stop six more times ... so, uh, seven?

Count: Vell, technically it had already stopped before starting the riddle so the answer's 6, but let's go with it.

OOC: That one's from Digitmaniacs, from HBO's original Braingames. The thing is that you pay attention to doing the math of how many people are on the trolley, you lose track of the stops and are caught off guard when the question comes at the end. Have a few more of those, but i'll save 'em for later if needed.

*A staircase opens up at everybody's feet leading downstairs. The plack nearby states a joke as old as time... Why is the number 6 afraid of the number 7?

OOC: I didn't know whether to include the first stop or not. Doing the math about the passengers tipped me off the riddle was about the stops when the numbers didn't quite make sense.

Hoggle: Heheheh, 'cause seven ate nine, naturally. *wipes sweat off brow* Sure hope that's it ... was gettin' kinda low self-esteem o'er the other one.
