Annie Sue: I have a feeling we're about to be karate chopped...

Spike (from behind a screen in the common room): I ain't doin' dis, toots.

Kelly (decked out like Lady Holiday): Oh, come on, someone had to model the dresses, and you're ... handy. *laughs*

Spike: Get someone else ta go first.

Kelly (sighs): Okay. Pearl?

Pearl (strolls out into the hallway from the common room, dressed in a dark purple dress that hugs her chest but then billows out toward the floor in lots of ruffles): Work THAT, folks.

Cotterpin (drives out on her scooter, wearing a beige blazer, white blouse, and beige split skirt): How do you humans wear so much CLOTHES?

Newsie (confidently decked out in a bright orange suit jacket and slacks, brown loafers, and a green shirt)

Kelly: Wow, Newsie is apparently going for the Giovanni look today.

Spike (from behind a screen): How come Jawline gets ta wear a suit an' I don't?

Kelly: You lost the toss. Now move your tail, buster!

Spike (streaks through the hallway, cackling)

Kelly (faints)

*Brings Newsie his glass of red pomegranate juice. *Departs with bottlecap collection and Fatatatita on secret mission. *Wonders if Jess, erm Kelly will join us as we trick-or-treat around the streets of town.

Maybe this city has a gym leader... Or a frontier brain perhaps? Oh well.

Pearl (hurriedly rubbing her arms, dressed in a flannel nightgown): For Heaven's sake! Is that there Mizumi chick in charge o' the thermostat? BRRRRRRRRRRR! *to Newsie* Hey, muffin -- where's Cotterpin? Go tell them Doozers to ratchet up the ol' heater!

Newsie: I can't. Cotterpin felt it was too cold and so she went deep into Doozer Dome.

Pearl (sighs): Well, what about Spike an' Kelly?

Newsie: -_- They found a way to warm up ...

Pearl (facepalms): Sorry I asked, darlin'.

Kelly (trying to read, but keeps thinking about starting her vlog)

Newsie (whispers to Spike): Why didn't Kelly go to school today?

Spike (shrugs): She said da cold made her joints hurt too bad, but I just t'ink dat Ailie chick is a bad influence.

*Can't decide between Katleen Purrner or Misty Whiskers as the name for the next haunter, a smexy movie actress cat-lady. Too bad neither Kelly nor Kathy are in fright now. Oh well, I'll check back later.
