Boober: Ugh. How can you watch this stuff?
Kim: What, Ghost Adventures?
Boober: Yes! It's positively *shudders* creepy.
Kim: *grins* I know; that's what I love about it!
Gillis: *putting a hand on Boober's shoulder* Don't even try, boy. It's just how she gets around this time of year.
Boober: *sighs* I'll be glad when October's over with.
Tosh: Yeah, 'cause Christmas will be a month away!
Kim: And you girls have already started listening to Christmas music, haven't you?
Mimzy: We plead the Fifth.

-Kim
Storyteller:Well, October's a wonderful month...even with all the ghoulish things floating around. But it's all back to normal in November.
Erin: With the glaring exception of the first Tuesday in November - and that one sees its fair share of ghoulish doings. (rolls eyes)
Scooter: Ghost Adventures...wasn't that the one where they claimed to find ghosts in the old Henson studios?
Nora: No, I thought that was Ghost Hunters...and I don't think they found anything there.
Beige: Come on, all they're picking up is that strange noise from the ceiling fan or whatever. It's nonsense...(lights flicker on and off)...uh, to claim that ghosts don't exist...for I'm sure they do.

*Flitters away.

UD: Of corpse they didn't find anything at the JHC lot... They didn't have Steve guiding them through the sorted past of the various hauntings.
*Cheap plug for the JHC podcast's 2008 Halloween episode.

Me: Wonder if Erin got that MUP3 we sent her.
UD: Well, we could call up the aliens and make sure she gets it the second time around?
:boo: :scary: :batty

Spike (on the sofa in the common room as the room 2 peeps watch TV): I have a question.

Kelly: Yeah?

Spike: Why is it you're so obsessed wit' Law & Order SVU?

Kelly (stares at Spike, giggling)

Pearl (scoffs, eats popcorn): Ain't it obvious? I love crime dramas.

Newsie (shakes head): All these crime shows just copy off of news stories. *sighs*

Spike (to Kelly): C'mon ... why?

*Takes Kelly and both instantly disappear.
*Manic laughter can be heard throughout the halls.

Scooter and Beige: (in unison) In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police who investigate crimes, and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.

(chung-chung noise)

Storyteller: "Law and Order..." yes, the storytelling is good, but...a lot of it's so violent and unsavory.
Nora: Yeah, and so was "Crime and Punishment." (pause) I still miss Jerry Orbach.
Erin: You and three-fourths of the fan base. At least we've still got Sam Waterston and Epatha Merkerson.

*Members of Room #16 just finished watching Dancing with the Stars*

Floyd: So, can any of you do the "Thriller" dance?

Maggie: *starts doing dance while singing part of the song*

Aly: *walks into room as Maggie is dancing* What in the world?
