I decided to randomly look up “robots building a car” after watching that weird 80s mechanical technology film with the wind-up dolls, robots and satellites, and it’s amazing how this footage looks just like what was presented in the film with the same type of robotic machines that make cars:

As I get older, I find Jim Henson’s voice honestly fit Beautiful Day Monster’s appearance the best.

I just find he captures more of that mix between an edgy and straight man monster (depending on the context of the skit), whereas whenever I hear Frank Oz voicing him, it just feels like I’m hearing/seeing Cookie Monster’s voice and personality come from/into his character

This segment was only rerun once more in Season 14 and never again (most likely due to Telly being recast from Brian Muehl to Marty Robinson in 1984).
It's interesting to think of reasons why certain segments would stop being rerun, not really because of controversies or anything. It's pretty clear those two segments where Count von Count uses hypnotic powers to get his way were phased out in the late 1980s because they heavily clash with the more modern Count von Count appearances of the time where he's a lot friendlier, and they likely didn't want to accidentally traumatize kids seeing a vampiric character that appeared so friendly to them earlier in a newer street scene or segment suddenly hypnotizing Bert or Grover in an older segment rerun as if he really were Dracula.

With that said, I noticed Count von Count's appearance first changed some time in Season 6.

How he looked in Seasons 4 and 5...

How he looked from Seasons 6 to 13. I'm guessing that was when they started building a unique puppet for the Count, so they wouldn't always have to add the appropriate feature and clothes to a Large Lavender Live Hand Anything Muppet every time. His eyes definitely look kind of different, along with his tongue.
