Yay for Linda! I always loved having Linda as part of the show. Sesame Street has always from the start portraying people of different races living together peacefully on the show (very significant for the time that it first aired in 1969- and still significant today) and it's good for kids to see deaf and hearing-impaired people on the show and remember that the disabled are part of our society too- and they make valuable contributions too. Linda served as the librarian for the show and was also a romantic interest for Bob- I always wondered when they would just have them get together and get married too... but I guess Bob is still the eternal bachelor. lol.
I recently ran across this Linda Bove VHS tape release. Not exactly directly Sesame Street-related, but still a fun find in any case.
