Does anyone remember Lillian who was on the show from 1990-1993? And does anyone know why she was taken off the show, or what her very last episode was?
I know this thread is a couple years old, but I came across it tonight while doing my human cast research. This post says that Lillian's last episode was at the end of Season 24, but my information says that her very first season was season 24 and stayed on til season 27. Which is correct? It seems that out of all the human cast members, her facts are the most varied. Thanks.ssetta said:Her very last episode was in the very last week of Season 24, show #3133. A grouch was visiting daycare, and Lillian kept telling her that there's plenty of grouchy stuff about daycare. Also, this episode started and ended with the new opening intro and closing theme, as opposed to the old harmonica opening intro and closing themes. They actually stopped using the harmonica music in the end of Season 24. And the last few weeks, some shows used the old music, and some used the new. It's wierd, and I don't know what determined it.
Back to Lillian, she was performed by Lillias White, and she had a daycare center. Lillian was actually a film singer for longer. She sang film songs such as "Reach Your Hand Up High", "Every Bit of Litter Hurts", "Face Facts", "When You Grow Up", "You Can Get Right Up", and "Say Cheese". She also did the voice of some character in the Disney movie "Hercules."

Now she may have done songs for the show right up until Season 27. I think that you could hear her voice singing a few songs after she departed from the show.
First time what has ever happened exactly?ssetta said:You won't believe what I just found out. She's coming on the show as a guest next season! They're doing a flashback where they go back to Gabi and Miles' first day of Kindergarten. I can't believe they're doing this! I think this is the first time this has EVER happened on Sesame Street!
