Do you remember King Louie, a memorable character from "The Jungle Book"?
Do you think that Louie is one of your favorite Jungle Book Characters?

He had been voiced by Louis Prima, who was famous for "Old Black Magic", in which Sam & Kermit were pretending to sing, and Jaye P. Morgan & Dr. Teeth REALLY sang it on The Muppet Show.

King Louie "wan'na be like you-hoo-hoo", you know.
Do you think Louie is the only Jungle Book Character to get his own "House of Mouse" Episode (in which he was known as his twin brother, King Larry) and the only Jungle Book Character nowhere to be seen in The Jungle Book 2?

Since King Louie was not even in The Jungle Book 2, I doubt he'll even appear in The Jungle Book 3.

Well, I can't believe Disney is milking it any more. They mess up great films by doing all these sequels.

Did you ever see the cartoon Tail Spin? King Louie owned a club in that series. Baloo was a pilot, and there were other characters added in. And Shere Kahn was a big-business man. They all wore clothes. It was totally a bad idea to do this series and it ruined the wildness that I loved about the characters.

Louie and Baloo are my faves in Jungle Book, though, and the soundtrack is one of my favorite Disney soundtracks!

I used those links here. In case some of you don't have any video or DVD of "The Jungle Book" and you want to watch that movie, you've come to the right place.
Just note that the transpose is only 1 bit higher. Also those movie isn't complete as an 8-part clip on YouTube, so if you want to see the whole thing, try buying a "The Jungle Book" Video.
According to Ultimate Disney in
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/comingsoon.html,
an upcoming Platinum 2-Disc Special DVD of "The Jungle Book" was planned.

DID YOU KNOW?: This is the very last known animated masterpiece by Walt Disney himself, who died during the production, making The Jungle Book the first full-length animtated Disney film to be released in theaters after Disney's death.

Baloo sounded like Thomas O'Halley in 'The Aristocats', you know.
That's why both Baloo & O'Halley are voiced by one person.

Nope, it was the Jungle Book. It was the last one to have Walt Disney's personal touch.

Okay, I see, the Aristocats was the first feature length film completed without Walt Disney.

Yeah, The Aristocats was actually the first of the feature length animated films without Walt Disney. The Jungle Book came before that and was the last to be supervised by Disney.

Do you think there was a spark or something missing after the Jungle Book?
