What did you use for materials?
The main material is blizzard fleece. Jo-Ann Fabric had only one shade of green, but it was remarkably close to "Kermit green" if not perhaps a bit too light. The collar is regular old anti-pill fleece instead of felt, chosen simply because it was about the proper color for his collar.

Kermit's mouth is made from gasket rubber, with a felt covering, of course. Kermit's eyes are ping pong balls (which are actually slightly too large, but oh well) with cut styrofoam balls inside to make them a bit more solid and easier to attach to the head.

I use the Jo-Ann fleeces as well, I have the same shade I believe? I actually found one slightly darker I may try next....

Are the legs to come next?

Again, nicely done!

As it were, I have no plans to add legs to this puppet. As my comparison pic shows, all my previous Kermits had legs. The problem with that is that when I use my puppets, it's always just in front of friends and family, so his legs just hang limp in the air since he's not usually standing or sitting on anything. A number of people have pointed out Kermit's "limp dangling legs" before, so I decided to just not have any this time.

And so far remarkably no legs at all has, in fact, proven to be less distracting than having them hanging there!

EDIT: On top of that, I've observed that the real Kermit puppet's body shape is actually different on the puppet with legs versus the puppet without them. On that puppet, it's more pear-shaped and less cone-shaped on the bottom. Since my puppet's body is designed to resemble the legless cone-shaped body, I'm not sure legs would even look right if I added them.

To be quite honest...I don't really have either. I've got some various little pattern pieces and stuff, but nothing real helpful since I was making up a lot of stuff as I went along.

I guess I'm kind of hoping I never have to build another one...
