I know it's 2:30 a.m., but I'm watching Johnny and Sal with the guy who does Hollywood Squares do a telethon for MD... call 1800-FIGHT-MD. Anyone else see this?

I just tuned in. Its cool to see the Muppets. The producer in the booth let Sal direct 30 seconds of the show. So he kept cutting back and forth to different cameras. It was funny. Also, Statler and Waldorf are doing commentary between acts from their balcony too.

I don't have enough spare blank vhs cassettes required to tape this thing to get all of these bits, but I did just tape Johnny clog dancing, Johnny & Sal talking about a broom and some sauce, then the two of them singing a parody of "Bohemian Rhapsody" about Sal spilling the sauce. This is pretty good for something that I didn't know of until tonight (the appearance, not the telethon). Glad I stayed up till 4:30 am today. :zany:

I just saw it!

Yeah! I didn't know they were going to be on either. Do you think we'll see more Muppets today?

I just saw them sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" in response to Sal spilling the sauce that Johnny's mother sent by FedEx to the telethon. I just loved Johnny doing a "do-be-do-be-do" type ending to the song. And, in unison, Johnny and Sal did the Wayne and Garth head-banging thing during the song.

If someone doesn't have the telethon locally you can watch on WGN (Chicago) if you have cable/satellite. Apparently on the Internet too but I haven't checked out the telethon site.

I missed it. I knew they'd be on the show because I saw it in an advertisement. If I had known exactly what time they'd be on, I would have taped it.

The early bird catches worms...or, something like that.

No, but really, like 2:30 in the morning? Not to be selfish, I mean it's for a telethon, but obviously they'd be using the muppets to pull in a few more viewers and pledges. But that early in the morning, most people are in bed, so it's kind of futile.

And I didn't realise that telethon is on right now. I should make a pledge, I have a friend with Muscular Dystrophy.
