Jim Henson's Santa Fe Ranch

I thought I had read somewhere that Jim Henson owned a ranch in or near Santa Fe, New Mexico at one time. Anyone else ever heard of this? Just curious.

Maybe that's where the Sesame cast/crew stayed when they filmed the New Mexico episodes. Just a guess.
