At the end of the show a rapper came up with a little-person sidekick, but I let things get kind of slanderous (?) as the rapper said, "Hey, nice Muppet." Muley looks at his dwarf-rapper-pal and says, "Thanks, your's ain't so bad either!"
That is hilarious!

Also, we had a 3.9 Earthquake in Memphis this morning right at 8am. I was sitting on my floor playing with my video tapes (organizing them actually) and felt it; I wondered why I didn't hear the train pass my apartment, and then on the news I heard about the earthquake. The center of it was in a city well away from here, in Arkansas, but we still had tremors here. Just proof of the magnitude of the New Madrid Fault on which Memphis is on the edge:

Momma mia claims she and my brother didn't feel it. You can believe that or not.

Thanks Fish'n'wolfe!

Whatever, I believe that she said she didn't feel it. I was sitting at Isaac Hayes' restaurant and bar the night before listening to Di Anne Price perform, and I felt the floor bouncing ever so lightly and asked my friend Billy (from Total Image) if he felt it, and he said no. But, when I dropped him off at his place later and was playing with his dog, Cosmo, the dog started barking and running around the house acting all weird. That was Wednesday night, and then Thursday morning the earthquake happened.

I don't know what the deal was but there were some zip codes between Memphis and Caraway AR that had no tremors at all. Then again, one guy in Memphis said he was in his bed and it shook so violently that it felt like someone had gotten in bed with him. The most it felt to me was a train going by outside carrying something heavy--not unlike how it shook the apartment when it actually jumped track a few weeks ago.

I musta skipped a groove again, man.

A train jumped the track in front of my apartment a few weeks ago. They got it cleaned up in one day, and from about 8 am one morning until 3 am the next, they had the cars off the track, 400 feet of track repaired and replaced, Highland Street repaired, and trains running again.
