All I can do is offer my sympathies, I was homeschooled since 2nd grade and never had to deal with all the peer issues that take place at school. I feel I came out a whole lot better for it. I don't understand why people feel a need to be hurtful of others, I really don't. I say keep wearing those swell shirts, it may be hard, but try not to change who you are simply because some kids think you're gay just from you being yourself. Also, be glad you HAVE a girlfriend at 14. Imagine how bad it would be peer wise if you didn't. I'm 22, and never have had one. I know other guys here have had chick trouble same as me. I really don't have any ideas on who to turn to with this, hopefully someone can help you out.

Middle school was the suckiest part of my life. I hated it. I was a short little weak kid who wore glasses and also wore Muppet shirts. I got teased a lot too.

Then I went to the gym everyday, got contacts instead of glasses, and grew to 6" 4' by my sofmore year of high school, asked out the hottest girl in school and designed all the tattoos for players on the Football team for free. So I forced my way out of that... and still pulled off wearing Muppet t-shirts. So it gets better, and one day yer' gonna' say to yourself: "Man, if I only knew then what I know now!"

Middle school isn't easy, but don't worry, you'll get through it, just find an outlet for your frustrations to make the time go smoother.

Middle School is though. But hang in there. It get's better believe me. You're talking to a girl who used to look like a beanpole (back in 6th grade when all the boys in my class were shorter than me), had glasses (with kinda thick lenses before the days that I could afford polycarb), and braces (not to mention headgear). Just take a deep breath, it won't last forever. The people picking on you will find someone else to torture tomorrow. Just remember we love you and accept you for who you are. (Besides the fact that we're all guilty of wearing Muppet shirts if we have one )

Hurts, don't it? I'm going through the exact same thing [maxamised by the fact I actually am gay!] but what I keep telling myself is that they are scum and I am not. That usually stops me feeling like excrement. Hope things get better,

Dan

Just be yourself! If those people are so petty and self centered that they need you to entertain themselves then I feel sorry for them. Stick to your guns because you KNOW the truth about yourself and you don't have to prove anything to anyone.

Keep in mind Bill Gates was a total nerd in school and got teased a lot too...now who is laughing at whom!

Keep on smiling...life gets better!

Ditto that. High school was no picnic either.

Hang in there bro. You need to find yourself a hobby that you are passionate about, that you can immerse yourself in, and that can keep you happy and active. For me, it was video trading when I was in middle and high school. Now I'm more into intense video game-play. And of course the Muppets and Jim Henson factor in highly in all facets of my life.

The point is, these hobbies keep you satisfied, which lowers the intensity of these social problems. Thus, when problems do arise, you have a secure place in your mind to go back to, which will help you cope and move on.

It doesn't get easier, man; the world is full up with terrible people who hurt others. Delving into something that you can do on your own is the best way (in my opinion) to keep your head straight.
