You know what I hate? When people say "You do know that..." Or "You know that...right?" It makes the person saying it sound like a conceited know-it-all and it makes me want to smack them...

I have a bad habbit of saying "just saying" at the end of almost any statement I make. I need to stop doing that. I also use "like" alot, but not in the whole "valley girl" type way. one of my friends said that it must be people from the north that use it alot, cause alot of people she knew said it, including her. I dunno
I know how you feel. I stutter say "like" in unnecessary places and start just about every sentence with "well" or "umm..." It drives me crazy, but I just can't seem to break the habit.
The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary does list "moneys" as an inflected form. Also "monies" as an outdated use of the plural form. The phrases just aren't used much.
This may sound a little strange but I seem to have this absolute aversion to people saying, "Shhhh!" For as long as I can remember it's made my skin crawl. The same way people don't like chalkboard scratching. I had one teacher in High School who used to do it all the time and I just felt like hitting the desk in frustration. She must have thought I was crazy! Lol
And needless to say, I can't watch Judge Judy for very long!
