Ooops! four pretty good ideas! Must have missed this one.

This one... Hmmm. We could have the Muppets working on something like this when Kermit's arrested.

Not to ruffle to many feathers, but I believe that since Jim Henson left this life, the Muppets have not been as edgy as they once were. There is very little that is aww worthy, and the songs have lost some heart. The first three Muppet films all had songs nominated for Grammys and Oscars. Do you remember how you felt when the gang rode bikes? when Piggy did water ballet? Those great songs like 'Movin Right Along', 'The Rainbow Connection', and 'The Happiness Hotel'? Songs that made you want to get up and dance? When is the last time the Muppets had to face adversaries as cold as Doc Hopper or Lady Holiday's brother? To better the Muppets, to bring about these old feelings in a new generation, we need writers who remember the Muppets, who won't think they're merely cute, but see them as the little worlds of potential that Jim Henson saw them for.
This! This is what we need!!!

Post it here, if you want. If you don't want to, e-mail's fine.

Besides, we've got those little e-mail buttons at the bottom anyway.

If you want we could close this thing off to "outsiders"!!!!

Sal and Johnny having connection in Las Vegas hehe... Sounds good to me...

I forgot that it's supposed to be a tv movie, and the real thing will probably be associated with a holiday again, wouldn't be surprised if it's another Christmas movie. Here's another idea similar to what I mentioned in the other thread:

A Very Scary Muppet Halloween Movie

with cameos by:
Christopher Lee, Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Elvira

it can feature a Moulin Scrooge like scene with them dancing the "Time Warp" in the "Muppet Horror Show". (with The Muppet Newsman playing the part of the criminologist, Gonzo playing Riff-Raff, Piggy playing Magenta, Janice playing Columbia, and chickens and penguins playing the Transylvanians.)

Maybe the un-named town which the Muppets live in can want to do away with celebrating Halloween. There can be a bunch of angry villagers in the town who protest town hall with torches and they all vote to do away with Halloween because it's "evil". And the Muppets can show up on their doorsteps with kids and cause micheif. Imagine Pepe: "Give me a Treat or you will get a Trick Ok?" They can teach the grumpy old villagers that Halloween isn't evil, it's fun. Sweetums and Animal could also scare some bad guys.
Animal: "Candy! Candy!" (as he chases an old woman)

Hmmm. I think we should stay away from the holidays. The Muppets have done too many already!

I think we're going to stick with those three story lines (for now).
Pigs In Space: The Movie
When the Electric Mayhem Met
and (what seems to be the favorite)
"Who Framed Kermit The Frog?" (working title:big_grin: )

We'll work on one at a time (feel free to list any other story ideas) Starting with Who Framed...

I've got it! We start out with a shot going through the casinos and streets of Vegas! Various humans, Muppets, and Link Hogthrob are gambling. We then cut to a house outside outside of Vegas where we discover Kermit The Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Pepe, Scooter (you won't discover he's an accomlice just yet), Bunsen, Beaker, Rizzo, Beauregard, Seymour, chickens, penguins, etc. All living normal lives. After we establish a few things, Kermit finds out there's a warrant out for his arrest. (I don't know if we should have him go to jail or not, just let him try to figure out who framed him) Him and the rest of te Muppets that are listed here would grab a car (cramped space) And head off, to avoid getting arrested.

Johnny and Sal (the Muppets liazons? Or the bad guys liazons?) Find out who it is that set Kermit up by using their connections (Swedish Chef, Pops, The Electric Mayhem, a few other of our favorite Muppets. That'd be funny) Kermit and the gang go to the bad guys place to confront him. After they do, the bad guy reveals to them that they have the place surrounded. Kermit and the gang manage to escape. Something happens where the Muppets (other than Fozzie & Scooter. Scooter sneaks off before this) reveal that they were in on the whole thing. Kermit and Fozzie continue on alone, but before our last showdown with the bad guy, the other Muppets (other than Scooter) realize their mistake and go to help Kermit out.

The showdown. Kermit and Fozzie agree to meet the bad guy at his casino. They talk a bit, when the bad guy reveals his accomplice, Scooter. Scooter tells them "What? They offered me my own theater!"

It appears as if Kermit and Fozzie are finished when all of a sudden our Muppet gang attacks from above. Johnny and Sal revealed that they caught the bad guys confession (told to Kermit and Fozzie before Scooter is revealed) on tape. Our bad guy goes to jail and our Muppet gang rejoices... that's when they realize Scooter is there rejoicing along with them. They all look at him as he continues alone. He stops. "Well, I'll let you play in my theater!" They continue to rejoice.

We'll figure something out for Miss Piggy while we're writing. Oh, and while we're writng the script for this, we'll also figure out a way to give all of the Muppets some way to have an important part in the story.

What do you guys think? We get our emotional part, and everything! This good for our first script?

(note: we'll do the other two ideas, just not yet)

Johnny and Sal revealed that they caught the bad guys confession (told to Kermit and Fozzie before Scooter is revealed) on tape.

yeah! there has to be a scene where Johnny is in a casino lounge singing. Maybe Rowlf can be playing piano for him at the gig, and Sal can be disguised as a waiter and secretly record the bad guys' conversation. Sal can keep on going back to their table and ask them alot of questions ("How many ice cubes did you want with that?") so he can hear their conversation. Maybe Johnny can even go into the audience and go up to the bad guys' table.

Maybe when they actually all get together to capture the bad guys, it can be at the Hard Rock Cafe. The Electric Mayhem can be playing a gig there, and the rest of the gang can hide on the walls and ceiling disguised as memoribilia. (Maybe the 3 Elvises can help out too and do some Karate)

I think the most important thing now is figuring out exactly what Kermit is being framed for. Maybe whatever it is, Scooter can get involved in it without knowing it. Like Scooter- "oh guess what Kermit, I just got this 2nd job, where I deliver packages." Kermit "That's great Scooter, now if only I can figure out who's behind all of this."

That's great! That's all great! I actaully wrote a Ninja/karate sequence for another thing I was working on! It would be so perfect here!

I love the Johnny and Sal waiter idea, and thanks for putting Rowlf there. I had almost forgotten about ol' brown ears.

I like that idea that Scooter is the un-knowing accomplice, but at the end I really want him to find out and figure "Oh, okay." That'd be kind of funny if now he owned the theater instead of threatening with his Uncle.

Oooh! I want Uncle Deadly as one of the bad guys. That'd be good.

What do you think of Pops, Swedish Chef, and The Electric Mayhem (or at least Dr. Teeth) being Johnny and Sal's connections?
