The Swedish Chef can be a cook at the casino, Beauregard can be a janitor, and Pops can be a regular at the casino. They can all know what's going on with the crime, and let Johnny and Sal know, they'll kind of be the main detectives. Maybe Piggy can even be a Vegas dancer in one of those big Vegas shows, Fozzie can do some stand-up, and Bunsen and Beaker can be Penn and Teller like Magicians. It'd be a perfect opportunity for Statler and Waldorf to do some heckling.

That's great! I would like the Electric Myhem to be sort of a MAFIA type scene. They try to sell Johnny and Sal information, but, Johnny being Italian, convinces them that he's part of "the family, and they wouldn't want him to tell the big boss". They agree to give him the information for free.

Hmmm. What should Kermit be set up for?

I'm going to start a NEW THREAD to continue this. Just in case this does end up being made, we don't want non-MCF members reading this, just so we don't spoil the surprise. If you guys don't like that idea, just post it here and we'll continue on from this thread.

I posted these on another thread, but I'll make this short:

Actual real life locations(hopefully including Manhattan again)

Original heart felt magical music(maybe even try to get that magical ethereal feeling of the fraggle songs?)

Smart writing that doesnt involve brief cameos with hasbeens and C list stars, nor throw away off the cuf topical pop culture references

NO digital erasing of the hand rods(c'mon! There arent cgi guys!)

Very little screentime for human only scenes

Something epic. No bumbling thieves, no idiot scientists, no classic story retelling. Something like Roger Rabbit, where the very fate of the Muppets is at stake, and all the Muppets past, present, and future from all over the club have to band together.

Those my friends, would be just the right ingredients to
make the most spectaculair epic Muppet film ever.

I like the erasing of the arm rods. Come on, that's really picky. I don't think today's audiences really accept visible arm rods in a big budget production. And others won't even notice that they are gone. I don't get that. Just seems like a strange request. To follow that logic - why have any special effects at all? (i.e. remote control animatronic shots or full body composites of characters standing)

Yeah i thought Cory would have liked the erasing of the arm rods - is he not the creative thinker around here who has plans to bring this company kicking and screaming (literally) into the 21st century, supporter of the epic masterpiece movie that is sure to win Oscar after Oscar ? He tells us that the Muppets aren't nostalgia - it's all about the future ........ and then he wants the hand rods left in shot !

Oh enlighten us oh great one !

We NEED cgi Muppets(ie: waldo, the dragonfly in VMC, the bug in KSY) and we NEED animatronics. But its kind of neat seeing the arm rods. At any rate, maybe I shouldnt have included that one. But the others are spot on right?

Yeah. I agree with the other stuff. However, I would object to the removal of armrods in the classic films like The Muppet Movie and Great Muppet Caper. I would never want Henson to follow that tacky trend of Lucas and Spielberg to alter an already classic film to suit a modern audience.

If you want to see arm rods, there are already plenty throughout Muppet history. They just aren't necessary for the "golden age in the tides of change of the sea of Muppetdom"! Sorry, just had to do it. Must be the Europop!

I've actually got nothing to say here, just wanted to keep this thread alive in case we need it later.
