Ooh yeah, know how that goes! I've never actually had a nail removed, but I've seen all types of unpleasant nail problems between me and my family. Lots of big bear hugs for you!
I also know how the family dinamic goes. I've faught with my mother, of course, but recently I've been needing her help, which she's been all too willing to give. Some more hugs for your mother for being there for you, and you for being there for her!

Big hugs for Kathy! ((((((HUGS))))))) I can't even imagine how painful that must be. I've only had a wart removed and that wasn't too bad. I really hope it starts feeling better soon for you!

Ouch...as much as the air hurts, you should try to get it a *little* air...maybe a little hole in the bandage for breathing? It probably wouldn't hurt as bad while changing dressings that way either.
I'll see what the dr. says when I see him today.
(btw...welcome back Sarah!throwing virtual confetti!)

i recently lost my big toenail, and yeah, i agree, it is extremely painful, but now im glad to say, after about 5 months, its fully grown back, it doesnt even look deformed! good luck with yours!
Thanks (((Leah)))The dr. cut the root of the nail.So it won't be growing back. Hopefully he can give me some kind of painkiller.

Thanks (((Kate)))) I found out that when my dad was alive he had an ingrown nail removed from his toe.So I guess it's inherited.
My mom's a wonderful person.:halo: She's been very strong since my dad died.
