So those DO exist in the realworld? I know TV sets have a SAP option for blind people, but I thought those special headphones blind people get at movie theaters only existed in the fictional world!

Sorry for driving your thread off-topic like this Marty, but everyone else here has basically said the same things I would've told you.
Yeah, they do in select theaters, but it's better then not at all, though.:smirk:

Absolutely wonderful. Do you think we should give thanks and praise to God for it?
We should give Thank and prase to God for all the wonderful thing he's done and continuesto do. So yes, we should deffently be thankful to the lord for that!:excited:

There are? I GUESS that's true since apparently there's Chinese restaurants who cook especially for people who are allergic to peanuts.
Well my Church does Sign Language occasionally and I know of others that do. Basically it's a regular service and one or two people are off to the side doing the Sign Language. The first person translates for the priest and the second translates the responses.

Wow, Marty; you've really struck a chord with me.

You see, I was born and raised in the Salvation Army, and not many people know it's a church. It's rare that I meet someone with any involvement or knowledge about the Army outside of what we do at Christmas time.

I then started working for the Army almost three years ago, and I love it there. The problem I'm going through, is that while you're trying to find the right path, I'm trying to get back on it. We haven't been to church since we moved almost 6 months ago. There were some instances that helped that along, but we really have no excuse.

Well, I guess I don't feel like going as deep into it as I originally did, but the Army is an outstanding organization and wonderful church should you decide to go there.

Well I do know from my studies of Church History that when General William Booth originally founded Salvation Army he never actually intended it to be a Church as such. He had founded it as an outreach program to witness for Christ within the churches. Members of the Churches could work as Soldiers in working to spread the Gospel much like the way the Gideon Society does today. However if I recall correctly this proposition came to be rejected by the Churches and they didn't want to work with the Army in this way. So Booth and his followers went their separate ways and set themselves up as the Church it is today. Sounds sad and unfortunate, which it is, but ultimately God must have wanted the Salvation Army to be a separate Church for His purpose. And I agree it is a very enjoyable Church to go to. Most people apparently still think of it as just an outreach group.

I love the Catholic Church also of course. But whatever God leads me to do I love my fellow Christians equally dearly in all Churches.

And Vic I hope you get yourself settled back into your Church life as soon as you can. God will motivate you when He's ready my friend.
