The test may have come negative twice, but my wife still hasn't had her period yet, it's twelve days late now and she's only 36 so it can't be menopause. An appointment has been made for the 16th, but I want to know what's wrong. This is getting scary:eek:

Why is it necessary to keep us abreast of if and when your wife has her period? I really don't need to know  !

Sorry about the TMI

Obviously some of you have a problem with this and I apologize to those of you who do. To those of you who don't, she had it this morning, only now her cycle is 41 days long; we want to have another child, but we have no idea how to calculate an ovulation date from that. Again I apologize to all who were offended:embarrassed:

Why can't you figure out that posting when your wife has her period is inappropriate for this type of forum? :attitude:

Muppet Central and this forum in particular are visited frequently by children and is a family-oriented site. It is one of a few safe places that I can trust my children to visit.Take this to WebMD or a medical site if you really need to share this information with the world .

I would suggest to the moderators that (just like the other thread) this thread be closed!

I agree with you guys. It's totally unnecessary info. If I had a wife that was pregnant, or that we suspected could be, I would say just that (eg. "Hey everyone, my wife might be having a baby! It's not certain yet but when I find out anything I'll let you know.") Plus, in the process of apologizing for giving TMI to those who didn't care for it, he does just that anyway in the same post.

BINGO, Ziffel.

I don't have a problem sharing exciting news that your wife may be pregnant . Just do it tastefully and with class.

Perhaps abiraniriba considers many of the other members of this board to be friends to whom he can come to for advice. Having gone through a few pregnancy related problems (with my wife), I can certainly understand wanting to talk about it with other people.

And honestly, you guys saw the title of the thread, you knew about the previous thread, you knew it would probably be more info on a subject that obviously bothers you and yet you chose to click on this thread anyway?

If you thought it was something that was going to upset you, why didn't you just ignore it?

As for the 41 day cycle thing, I'd say start at day 12, just like a 28 day cycle and then don't quit until day 22 in case it's another 41!
