As of this post, I've become a senior member! I'll be back later to thank everyone for making this possible!
Yay, Ryan! Come on in to the VIP room here. We've got it all set up for new members. The robes are over to your right- ignore what that silly Count was saying. The free Cokes and iced tea are in that fridge a few feet behind you, and our personal theater is through the door to your left. We're showing "Muppet Treasure Island" right now. So, have fun!

What?!? I'll have you know the Senior Hottubs were THE place back in the day.
Beauregard, please school this newbie on what we used to have going on for us back in the tubs please.
And as for robes... Ahem, I'll just hand those out when the time is fright.

J/K a little with you TA. But seriously, I'll be talking to all of you dormers about those choice robes in a few days. Gonna be making a surprise for you guys in September for the anniversary.
As for something like what we used to have back in the ol' hottubs...

Bo, you've got a bit of standing here with your post totals. Is there something you could arrange with Phillip or Fozzie? Maybe not necessarily a hottub complex persay... But a lodging for us Senior Members. And maybe someone appointed "Special Moderator" who can come in regularly and delete all posts by non-Senior Members if they start to get outta line?
Just a thought.

I never made it to the senior hot tubs. Sadly they were deleted shortly before I made rank.

Yeah... It's almost a year since those threads were deleted. Such a shame too.
That's why I've been asking Phil sporadically, so as not to bombard him constantly about the idea of a Senior Lodge or something like that.
So Bo, is something like that possible? Like I said, you have some hefty pull around here, maybe you can chat with Kevin and make it happen?

Well, at least we got the dorms.

Well then, lemme tell ya a story.

*Gathers everybody round the rocker.

Waaaay back when... Think it was a couple of years ago... The first of these threads congratulating a forum member on reaching 1000 posts and the title of "Senior Member" was started for Whatever. The talk got to what it was that they were congratulatin' her on. And Fozzie Bear, the now moderator, slipped up and said that he was giving her the keys to the executive washroom with a hottub inside it. The mistake was a "hottub", when he meant to say a "jacuzi" as a reference to MFS.

Well, before you knew it, a bunch of us were becoming Senior Members and gaining access to the hottub complex. We kinda had it that at 2000 posts, you could set up your own lodgings there to live inside the hottub complex. But we were easy-going and there were some who posted in the thread without being Senior Members. So... What we did was set up Crazy Harry as our security, big surprise that didn't work as well as it should've...
And then we had a "kiddie pool" area set up outside the main complex for those who still wanted to post in the hottubs thread while not intruding on the privileges of those of us who got into the hottub areas.

But then came the crash of early 2004, when the Games section of the forum was wiped out and cleaned up. Then, cause some of us had our post totals dip a bit... BethC came up with the Bathtubs thread. That thread was meant for anyone who had posted at least 1 post on the forums. We had normal bathtubs at her place and grand hottubs at the Senior Member complex. Life was good then.

But cause of a few reckless yahoos, Phillip decided to chuck the Games and Friends & Families sections in July of 2004. Both threads of the tubs were closed down and deleted, post totals were affected once again. Thanks to BethC and Kevin steppin' forward as Games Moderators, we got the dorms back up and better than ever.

As soon as someone made it to Senior Member, we admitted them into our hottub complex and gave 'em a designer designed bathrobe made by meself.
Now-a-days, we get by with the Moppet Family and MC Dorms, along with TKO and other games threads. But it's a far cry from the hottubs of yore.
That's why I'm cookin' up a surprise of new bathrobes and something else for Senior Members at the dorms. Everyone who's registered over at the dorms will receive a bathrobe, need to talk to the youngins bout what they want it to be.
The other surprise will be handed out to all Seniors, whether they're at the dorms or not.

Hope that satisfies your thirst fer knowledge Mrs. Pepper.

Thanks everyone! Now, I'll be thanking all who made it possible...

The Count: As I recall, you were the first to welcome me to this fabulous place! And you've alowed me to post in the MC Dorms thread, were I got a few of my posts.

Beauregard: For Search for Skeeter, where I got some posts in playing Pepe the King Prawn, and for The Moppet Family, where some of my recent posts were.

TogetherAgain: For writing your wonderful fan-fic, which let me get posts by posting feedback. You were also the reason I decided to write Muppet High.

That Announcer: This might sound a little shallow, but I tried to post as much as you, just to keep up with someone. But in the end you out ran me.

HPDJ: For Best of/Worst of Games.

Fozzie Bear & Beth C: For starting some of the other games. Where most of my posts were.

Phillip Chapman: For creating a site where I can talk to Muppet fans around the world, and because of you I actually got to post here!

Everyone: For making MC what it is today, and inspiring me to come this far!

Peace and Love,
Ryan
