Yes, years ago in the early 80's when Telly was a brand new characther and had his original voice. Telly showed up at Kermit's apartment to sell him a headwarmer. Kermit bought one for a dollar. After Telly put it on him, his whole head was covered and he couldn't see. When Telly left Kermit walked into the kitchen and you could hear the sounds of pots and pans falling and things breaking.

His original voice? Who provided that?

Yes Telly did appear often with Kermit as a reporter. There was one sketch where Telly and his sister Mona (aka Ingrid), and Kermit went by to there apartment to see what they do on a rainy day.

Another team up that would have been great would have been between Rosita and Placedo flamingo. I think Placedo spoke some spanish. Rosita debuted in 1991, a year before Richard Hunt died, so they could have done something together, but I beleive that I have read somewhere that Richard didn't do much performing during that season.

Just found out in the hurricane episode 1, Kermit had rare interactions with Telly, Baby Bear, Elmo and Zoe. It was fun to see.

That is why I thought that Placedo flamingo spoke spanish. however, in that scene, he sang the lyrics in english. i don't know if there was any specific reason why Placedo Flamingo sang the english lyrics (maybe it was easier for Placedo Domingo to sing in spanish than for richard hunt to sing spanish, even with cue cards and sheet music).
