Today, my friend Jimmy and I went to the museum where Bob McGrath from Sesame Street was doing a music appreciation peformance for preschoolers to interest them in music. You needed kids to get in, which we didn't have, but a lady we knew was there for the local PBS station, and said we could "help" her.
So were standing around during Bob's show (I believe he's 73 now-of course nice and very grandfatherly now)and afterwards he was selling and signing CDs-and Jimmy and I were asked to bascially be security to help move things quicker (the crowds were huge-mostly toddlers and star struck parents-after all , they're the ones who remember watching Bob!)-we stood by Bob and Jimmy would take money and then I would take the kids name, put it on a post-it, and pass it to Bob so he could personalize the CDs! Then afterwards when everyone left, we got out pictures taken and got to chat a little bit! It was one of the coolest "right place, right time" experiences I'v ever had!

Here I am with Bob today:
