Darn, you were lucky to see him: Bob McGrath had appeared in my former hometown about 20 years ago, although I missed the opportunity to meet him then. (I almost blurted out "Holy cow, that Bob...you mean that's his real name?" after seeing his promo poster at the mall; he's still one of my favorite human cast members.)

P.S. If Bob stays with the show as long as his health allows, chances are good that he'll become the next "Mr. Hooper" figure: the kindly old man full of stories and memories, who'll be greatly missed when he dies.
