I was at Denny's the other night with a bunch of friends. Their claw machine is right at the entrance. While we were waiting for our table one of my friends told me there was a muppet in the claw machine. Sure enough there was animal sitting right on hte top and over to the side. He wound up costing me only a dollar. I am so happy. He is one of the new 25th Anniversary ugly monstrosity toys but it's still cool to own him.

Speaking of those ugly new 25th anniv. plushes I was at Wal-Mart and hteir claw machine had 2 6'' muppet plush. A Piggy and a Ringmaster Fozzie. These toys look so bad they dont even look like knock offs. The only way I knew they were muppet toys is from the hang tags.

Heh Joggy, that is something I can relate to (the lack of luck with winning Muppet things). I remember the Broward County Fair, 2001. Nice (I think) Gonzo plush, waiting for me. All I had to do, was toss the rings on the bottle tops. Oh, the pain that ensued.

I had to have tried 7 times. I had the evil carnie, the kind that won't just give you the thing no matter if you play 3 or 3,000 times. Every time I wanted to just stop, I looked up..and there they were, those eyes, staring at me, seemingly saying "Matt...please win me Matt!" Ahhhh!!

I hate the BCF.

I was at Tidyman's last Friday with my parents and when I was walking out, something caught my eye. I went past a claw machine, stopped, and walked back. There in that machine was a Gonzo plushie! (I only saw the face.) I only said, "Wow! Cool!" and left. If only I brought my wallet with me.

According to my husband's grandfather, it is nearly impossible to get a toy from the claw machine if the rubber tips have been removed from the claws. If there are no rubber tips, I don't even bother.
