Fine here, though it looks like the tail end of Katrina is going to hit us in a few days. I've been watching Good Morning America, and it sure looks like New Orleans is going to get whallopped. I hope the folks in the Superdome are all right. It seems like this is going to be an especially fierce hurricane... :concern:

Yeah, I heard that New Orleans might be hit on this morning's news on the radio not too long ago. Pretty scary.

Are you in the hurricane's path? :embarrassed:
I've been watching the coverage on CNN, too. And just to think of all those people (close to 12,000) in the Superdome...apparantly the field area will be completely flooded and everyone's going to be sitting up in the stands..for close to three days!! Hopefully, everyone on the highway gets out okay, too.

Thoughts and prayers for everyone affected.

Good thing at least that Katrina turned a little east and the eye apparently didn't give New Orleans a direct hit. Also was good news it was reduced to a category 4 from 5 this morning (and maybe further down to a 3 later?) But still very powerful and still causing some flooding and ruckus. Hope GeeBee and the other New Orleans folks are okay, as well as their homes and belongings.
For here today it is pretty hot and very humid. Feels awful. No rain here yet today but this evening it may come and the next few days will have a ton of Katrina related rain (but not to the point of much flooding concern, praise God). 88F, 31C right now in Philly.
