Thumbs down once again. 85 but higher humidity. And the humidity keeps increasing this evening and lasts at least into next weekend. The temps will be continue to be in the uncomfortable upper 80's until Friday when yet another heat wave of the 90's crud starts. Phew what a terrible summer this year is weather wise. I've forgotten just what a delightful sunny day outside feels like! (75ish, blue sky (instead of the hazy crud), and low humidity)

Breakfast: Just nibbled on a few small things
Lunch: Prime Rib Steak, potatoes Au Gratin, broccoli
Dinner: Cheese Steak w/ fried onions and extra cheese; cheese fries (cheddar cheese). Dove ice cream bar for dessert.

Naw, I went for convenience over quality and bought from the closest shop. But like most cheesesteaks it is still yummy. :stick_out_tongue:

Now, you Philadelphians are real lucky. You can walk just about anywhere and find a good cheesesteak. Up here, however, most restaurants (in fact, I'd be willing to say all restaurants) botch cheesesteaks completely. Here's how a cheesesteak looks on most menus around here:

Philly Melt- $7.99
A generous helping of thinly carved roast beef, served on a French roll with mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms and bell peppers. Served with your choice of potato.
See? That's not even a cheesesteak, for God's sake!

Today: Much better, but still too hot for my liking. High 82, with lots of beautiful gray clouds.

For Breakfast: Toast that I crammed into my mouth in one bite.
For Supper: Taquitos and Pizza Rolls.

LOL you're right there. That's like the thing they try to pass of as a cheesesteak at the cafeteria where I work in the northern suburbs of Philly.
It's a pretty sorry sandwich and overpriced too. Their grilled ham and cheese and tuna melts are far better.
I'm usually satisfied with even suburban cheesesteaks, but winding up with a botched one is ..... well I can't think of a good analogy. How about it's kind of like eagerly awaiting delivery of TMS season one on dvd then finding out it has cuts. Heh heh, but as disappointed as I am about that I am still looking forward to it arriving.

Haha good one FISH'N'WOLFE, you had me going there. When I read that you said it was only 65 and looked where you were from I was like, "Wow, that comfortable today in Massachusetts?!"
LoL, I wish it really had been 65 out. More of the same hot sunny muggy weather today, although there were a couple of cool spells during the day.
