I remember a few years back, we had two weeks of 30 C weather in the middle of march, then it went back to being like 20 below and snowy until nearly may.
Good Lord, where do you live? Mars?????? 30 C weather in March (or here any time before mid-July) is truly unheard of in most of Canada! Man, you're lucky!

Where'd you go? I'll make sure they give you your iced tea! I know how you feel. 1 out of 10 times I go to a restaurant, they don't have milk.

I went to this place, just a local two-store operation. Their strawberry jelly is the best donut in the world, apart from Dunkin Donuts' Vanilla Kreme donut, which a lot of DDs don't have, and there's no stores my way. So I guess I'll have to settle for the jelly.

They're pretty good. I've always loved the aforementioned VK, the glazed, chocolate frosted and plain. (I know, I'm boring.)

Yuk. Today was yuk. Really, really humid, threatening to rain at any moment. Then the sun came out and now it's a steambath with highs in the 90's. Relief is coming tonight though! Yea!!!

Breakfast: Honey Nut Chex
Lunch: Cheese quesadilla, taco chips
Dinner: Hamburgers and french fries (homemade by my mom)

More of the same once again today. The typical 4 H's: Hazy Hot Humid and Horrible! Tomorrow will be the same but one degree higher (96 instead of 95) and a little better but still hot Friday and beyond. Well, at least I put in for a week's vacation in September instead of July or August so hopefully I'll be able to enjoy the weather while off (Assuming I'm still at my present job. I've got a couple of excellent new job possibilities here in my area. I'd hate to lose the week off in September, but to suddenly have a commute of five minutes vs. almost an hour would be like a vacation in itself!).

Well it was awful again today, of course, but some unexpected rain and cloudiness late this afternoon has cooled things down just a tad. More rain tomorrow afternoon and evening will be followed by a "cold front" (Yeah right!) which will bring us 85-90 over the weekend instead of the 90-95 we've had all week. Oh well, at least it's SOMETHING. But then back to 90 or 90's next week again, making it all the harder to be excited at all for this weekend's "relief".

Dinner: Everyone needs a little KFC. MMMMMMM love their chicken and buttermilk biscuits!
