No! This thread will not die! I forgot to post here yesterday!

Ok, yesterday was humid, rainy and gross.

Today is: COLD! Yea! Well, ok, cool, not cold. Highs around 70 degrees. Partly cloudy. Couldn't ask for anything better really after the heatwave!

Yesterday I ate: Cereal for breakfast, cheese quesadilla for lunch and turkey with gravy for dinner.

Today I had cereal (Frosted Flakes) for breakfast, probably a turkey sandwich for lunch and I don't know what for dinner.

That is all. Keep this thread alive everyone!

And the hottest day of the year has arrived in Philly at 97F (about 36C) with high humidity making it feel well over 100. Almost a repeat for tomorrow, then some nice relief for at least the next five days --- low 80's and low(er) humidity. Can't get here too soon!
Not much food consumption today, but some water ice, 'nilla icecream, and GALLONS of ice water.

Oh boy, about an hour ago the power suddenly went off. When it gets this hot these darn power failures can happen since everyone in Philly is draining the power supply by putting their A/C on full blast 24/7. Thankfully, it was just out an hour. Power failures really bring to mind how much we depend on electricity. For A/C, refridgerators, tv's, vcr's computers, washer and dryers, lights and microwave ovens! (Just heated up chicken and mashed taters while I have the chance!)
Also thankfully, I was simply reading a post when the power went out. Had I been typing a post it would have been for nothing. :stick_out_tongue:

Yeeks. I just did a Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion, and you're at 44 degrees my temperature. And I thought 30 was bad!

Boy, I feel bad for ya.

Believe me, if it were 44 degrees around here, I'd be singing the hallelujia chorus!
