I got back from my cruise yesterday afternoon, but was kind of tired to post the details last night. Now I'm OK.
To start with,5 out of the 7 days had gorgeous weather.(the other 2 were rainy, and wouldn't you know it,they were days that we were docked to go off sightseeing
But we did anyway.) There was Tortola Grand Turk & St. Maarten. All excellent ports!
We had bus tours on all 3 & they were beautiful!
The food on the ship was absolutelutely to DIE for! (insert Swedish Chef icon for delicious!) I'm a big lover of fish so I ordered fish for almost all the dinners. They had lots of delicious breakfasts as well. One of them was flower shaped waffles topped w/ fruit, strawberry syrup & whipped cream.Yummy!
And finally in reference to my "Calypso Kathy" I made a few pages back about hoping to find a nice sweet guy on the cruise.I found one!Sweet and kind, yes. And his behind (from what I saw, since he was wearing pants) was good looking too.But first of all,he was our cabin steward. Secondly,he's from Indonesia. And third...he's newly married!DRAT....DRAT....DRAT!! Oh well...can't win 'em all!
Oh yeah...on Wednesday night,my mom & I went to the Piano Bar on the ship to play a musical trivia game.We were sitting there before the game & the pianist started playing this song called "Too Young" by a singer named Nat King Cole.(He was a singer in the 40s) I practically started crying right there because :
a)my dad loved Nat King Cole and I started missing him (my dad) again.
b) my grandfather was an incredible singer and he sang this once or twice for us.He passed away in '92.So I was thinking of him as well.
Other than that, I had a bl...er.....wonderful time!!
