OK... Seeing as how Sara (ReneeLouvier) started this... And others have continued adding to it, I just want to have it cleared up for future authors or additions.

Please bear in mind I'm trying to construct this so it'll make sense.
1 Henson Street is the main central road. So it'll be the center horizontal line of the streets in the town.
2 The Muppet Theater is on the east end of Henson Street. OK, does this mean it'd be on the upper righthand corner?
The way I see it is two-fold...
The Muppet Theater is at the eastern end of the streets, creating the cap for a cull de sac with its rear alleyway entry between Henson Street on one side and the other aptly-named street across from Henson Street.
Looking at the drawing head-on, you could have it as:
a. The Muppet Theater on your extreme right side, Henson Street as the lower horizontal street, and the other street as the top horizontal street.
b. Or it could be flipped over to have the Muppet Theater on your extreme left, Henson Street as the top horizontal street, and the other street as the lower horizontal one.
Frankly, I prefer the latter, gives the Theater and Henson Street a sense of primordial priority.
Please post with the other pieces, and how they should connect.

*Hopes Sara will come here and we can talk about it better.

Okay, I've mapped out a light rendition of the Hensonville city. Yes it's small, but so far it's only what we work with. I may later create more maps to extend it to show Sara's house, other houses, the locations of the Denays corporation and the such.

Rully nice... But I'd appreciate it if we could get some directional info. For example... Do you have the Theater and Henson Street in any of the ways I mentioned above?

Don't forget the train station! That's been an important part of many stories around here.

Not really sure where I'd put it though....

Well... Hoping to get help with descripts of the town layout as Sara depicted it... But please try to keep it simple, kind of taking one piece and connecting it to the next that sort of thing.

Als I know is this... If going by what I said in my posts above...
1 The Muppet Theater at the extreme left of the screen in front of you, capping a two-street cull de sac.
2 Henson Street is the top horizontal street.
The shops on Henson Street, in order from left to right:
a. Bat Bolt & Skull Toy Shop, my own store.
b. Fran's Fragrant Flowers, run by Kathy.
c. Beth's Clock Shop, for redBoobergurl.
d. Jim's Coffee House run by the master Muppeteer himself, with a second floor lounge and hidden underground bunker for all Muppeteers Special Ops.
3 Ganz-Cooney Street, across from Henson Street, the lower horizontal street.
The shops along this street in order, from left to right:
a. Hensonville's Hooper's Store, run by Bryan.
b. Mike's Bakery, run by Angela known as Angie or sugarbritchez.
c. Marvin's Music City. This was originally run by Diana, but it'll be changed in the next part of One Little Star.
*Which is why I started this thread, need some location particulars to add the new establishments for the newcomers refered to in Part 28 of my story.
d. The Three Candles Library, where Kim, Sara, and Lisa, sisters all work and reside.
This is kind of how I'd like the descripts to flow, since it'd be easier for me to visualize how the pieces and streets connect.

Of course, it could all be flipped upside-down to keep the Muppet Theater at the east end of Henson Street truly on the eastern or righthand side... Just trying to get this matted down.
Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Neat way to describe it, Ed. I had honestly forgotten about that before when I drew the picture. I'll be redrawing it accordingly. I'll upload the fixed picture either tonight or tomorrow.

Sounds good. Thanks for remembering my branch of Hooper's. Will the Muppet Dorm house be on here also?

That's the plan... But in time, we need to get it all connected first.
So... Which sounds better to you guys, just to help Sara and save her from making multiple map drawings.
The way the two main streets are described with all the shops above and the Muppet Theater on the extreme lefthand side?
Or the way the two main streets are described above, with all their shops, flipped upside-down so the Muppet Theater's on the extreme righthand side?

Hey, Renee, thanks for putting the Coming Unbound bookshop on the map! That would be a bit of a hike to the Muppet Theater in a rainstorm...poor Nora. And Count, I love the description of Jim's Coffee House and the Muppeteers' secret bunker.

Let's see...as for the train station, I had it parked on Nelson Square, which I'd say is a mile or so south of the theater, probably off the current map. And I believe the passenger rail lines run within shouting distance of the theater.

Also, there are arrows pointing toward Sesame Street. Do you think we could just put Sesame St. on the map?
