Kris: Hello, Uncle Deadly. Nice to finally creep you! Yes, we're mostly unpacked. I'll throw a roomwarming later this week...do you think everyone would bring something to a potluck? We could hold it in one of the common areas, or wherever you guys think is best.

Newsie: *recoils at sight of undead dragon* A monster! You didn't say there would be monsters!

Rhonda: *to Kris* Ya got that part right in your fics, anyway.

Kris: Well, he has been eaten by at least one... Newsie, you know this one. He haunts the Muppet Theatre.

Newsie: Oh. Um. Er. *tentatively sticks out a hand* Ah...hello?

Kris: Nice to finally see the Count and, um, Countie! Does anyone here want some coffee? Oh -- and I love what you guys have doomed to the place! Feel free to drop into #12 whenever you like.

*Newsie looks less than pleased, but says nothing*

Rhonda: It's...nice. Early mortuary, with a few dashes of the House of Mystery thrown in. Um. Homey.

UD: Thank you. Yes, the master does have a somewhat good sense for our tomb sweet tomb.
:batty: Hmm, a potluck dinner? Around here, your best bet is to put up the announcement and see who (if anybody) shows up.

Bert: *putting the oatmeal duckies in the oven*

Ernie: This sure is exciting Bert! Making cookies in our new apartment, what could be better than this?

Ellie: Putting the oatmeal ducks in a bowl of milk and calling it a pond!

Ernie: *laughs*

Bert: That's a pretty interesting thought, I never thought I'd get to see ducks swimming in milk.

Ellie: Well they need to swim somewhere. Anyway, when will they be ready?

*oven timer sounds*

Bert: Right about now! *pulls cookies out* They'll have to cool for a bit.

Ernie: They can be friends with Rubber Duckie! *squeezes Rubber Duckie for a response* Aw, he can't wait!

Ellie: Speaking of the wait, we should do something while we wait...

Susie: Ellie, c-could I make a suggestion?

Ellie: Sure Susie, g'head!

Susie: Maybe we should tend to the cookies and maybe a certain someone should start on that history paper that she has to hand in in a week...But, it's just a suggestion, you don't...I mean that certain someone doesn't have to consider it.

Ellie: Aw Susie, live a little! I'll do my paper this weekend if I don't start it tomorrow, I promise! And well, look on the bright side of things: We didn't make a mess.

Susie: *sighs* I guess so.

Ernie: Chin up Susie, you're starting to sound like Bert!

Bert: *frowns* -_-

Kris: Cool. I'll tack up an announcement soon. Come on, guys, lots of doors to knock on... *leaves fudge with "Happy Birthday" note to Red outside Apt #3*

Rhonda: Okay. But I'll let you do the knocking. I just had my nails done this morning and I don't want to chip 'em.

Newsie: *straightens his tie* I hope I don't run into anyone who saw me when I was under the influence of that poison and acting ridiculous...

Rhonda: *snorts* You? Ridiculous?

Kris: Play nice, or we're not watching the "PBS Newshour" later.

Newsie: *glares at Rhonda* Hmf! *trots after Kris* Er...may we have some of that gingerbread ice cream while we watch? Serious newscasts make me hungry.

Kris: Sure. *doubletake* Newsie...how did you reach the freezer?

Newsie: Er...well...I thought it prudent to investigate the entire apartment after running into those weird monsters. Wouldn't want any more hideous surprises.

Rhonda: Then stay outta your wardrobe. I think the Plaid That Ate New York crawled in there to die.

*the trio goes from door to door on each floor to greet anyone home, sharing coffee, before heading back to their pad*

Angie: *sneaks up to Bert* Quack? o.o

Johnny Fiama: *facepalm*

Angie: *to Ellie* Oooo... we should have a tea party once the cookies cool off. *flails* c:

Johnny Fiama: Political-wise? There's nothin' to protest 'ere. -.-

Angie: No. A tea party, old man. Y'know, where we dress up in pretty clothes, and eat. =P

Sal Minella: Sounds like fun.

Johnny Fiama: Uh, no thanks.

Ernie: *squeezes rubber duckie a few times to support the quack-fest started by Angie*

Bert: *turns to Angie* You're a fan of ducks, aren't you?

Ellie: *giggles* I'm more partial to coffee myself. Oh, the duckies can swim in my coffee!

Angie: ... no tea party? :c

Johnny Fiama: No.

Linda Mezzo: No.

Sal Minella: Yes-- I--I mean no. No.

Angie: Aw... D: *to Bert* Yes I do. :3

Johnny Fiama: Yeah... that's cute. -.-

Angie: If cookie-shaped duckies can swim in coffee, or milk, then, look! I'm sitting down in Bert's chair. *sings-songs*

Linda Mezzo: *shakes head*

Angie: Whee... :B

Link Hogthrob: *drapes an arm around Annie Sue* *to Walter* Oh, hello. :3

Annie Sue: Hello, Walter. You did great in The Muppets. I loved it. 8D

Link Hogthrob: *whispers to Annie Sue* ... is he lost? o.o

Annie Sue: *giggles vaguely* Of course not, silly. He was in the movie with you. x3

Bert: I like pigeons myself, I used to have a pet pigeon, Bernice. *happily reminisces about Bernice*

Ellie: Angie I don't think Bert really minds you in his chair.

Ernie: Not as long as she's wiped her feet and is germ free! *laughs*

Bert: Ernie, I'm not that bad!

Ernie: You could have fooled me and we're best pals!

Ellie: I bet the duckie cookies are cool! *reaches for one* Ow! Or not...

Angie: Aww... that's sweet. *gets up* I remember when I was a bambina, I used to visit the pigeons at the park. Playfully teasin', and feedin' them bread crumbs were really special moments.

Linda Mezzo: Aww... *reaches for a cookie* Ooh! They're hot. D:

Johnny Fiama: They look good, Ellie. *takes a cookie for the walk home* Hey. Linda, Sal, and I have to go for the night.

Angie: *finishes her first cookie* Mmm... they're delicious, Ewie.

Link Hogthrob: *smirks* ... I feel loved... hold me, Annie Sue. *swoon* <3

Annie Sue: *giggles* *lets Link fall in her gentle arms*

Sal Minella: *exits Apt. 11* Make way for Johnny Fiama! Make way!

Johnny Fiama: *saunters by* Thank you, Sal. *glances over to Spamela as he makes his entrance* *to Walter* I'm Johnny Fiama. Y'know? The Italian crooner of Muppets Tonight. The big-shot who hosted the David Letterman rip-off. *beat* Okay, Sal. Linda. I'm tired. I wanna go home. God bless, Walter.

[commotion (what else is new?) as Kim and the Fraggles get settled into Apt #6 for another year.]

Gillis: Kim, have you seen the remote for the cable box?
Kim: It's up on the entertainment center by the TV with the other remotes; why?
Boober: You're not going to watch television now, are you?
Gillis: Of course not. I'm just going to turn it to one of the all-music channels so that we have something to listen to while we're unpacking. [turns on the TV and starts scrolling through the music channels, landing on the 70s channel] There we go.
Kim: [as Eric Clapton's "Lay Down Sally" filters through the apartment] Good choice, Gillis. [just then a knock sounds at the door]
Tosh: Is that her?
Kim: Probably, Tosh. [goes to the door and opens it.] Hey there, Lily. Come on in; you're right on time.
Lily: [walking in] Hi, Kim. Hi, everyone. Thanks for letting me stay here with you.
Kim: It's no problem at all, Lily.
Tosh: [nods] What Kim said. We're glad that you could move in!
Gillis: Of course we are.
Boober: What they said.
Tosh: C'mon; I'll show you your room and we can get you moved in. [takes Lily by the hand and pulls her down the hall to the bedrooms.]
Kim: Which means we get to bring in the rest of her stuff. Come on, boys.

-Kim
