Susie: Thank you for your sentiments Angie! We did have quite a few parties but I just wish the remnants weren't all over D:

Ernie: Nice shades Link! Why don't we have a sunglasses party?

Ellie: YES! *suddenly sporting sunglasses*

Susie: Not now! *goes over to a corner and pulls a pile of stuff out of it* We had a flip-flop wearing party, a hockey party, an indoor baseball party which I was initially against, and we had a cake-walk party! We can't afford to make more messes! I just know sunglasses will get thrown everywhere!

Ernie: Lighten up Susie, you're starting to sound like Bert!

Bert: Ernie!

Ernie: *laughs*

Ellie: Well, I vote we have a sunglasses party, who else agrees?

Betty Lou: Aw, Bert, it's okay. Want to head to the common room for a little bit and take a break from the messiness?

(Apartment 5 is approaching normal after last night's party. (Well, you know what I mean--normal for us.) Ru is pushing things the party things away and gathering up the crepe paper. Rizzo is helping.)
Rizzo: Nice shindig, huh?
Ru: I thought it went rather well.
Rizzo: It was really smart of you to think of making an extra cake for Carl.
Ru: Oh, well, it was no trouble, really. In fact, it helped a lot. I was able to use up all of the stuff I would normally put into my compost heap, plus all the unidentifiable leftovers in the fridge. Slap on a coat of icing and--voila!
Rizzo: He really seemed to like it--especially the coffee-grounds you sprinkled on the top in the shape of a party hat.
Ru: Aww...I thought it went down too fast for anyone else to notice. But I think he enjoyed it, and after the party everyone was still accounted for.
Rizzo: Um, Ru--how come it took you so long to tell us that Carl was sort of, you know, stalking you for groceries?
Ru: (blushing) Well, I--sometimes it's hard for me to know when to ask for help. I like to be independent, and I think I'm supposed to be able to take care of myself.
Rizzo: Yeah--but--but Ru--we take care of each other here in the apartment building, right? I mean, you take care of Miss Piggy--
Ru: And you keep Gonzo from playing in the street.
Rizzo: Eh, mostly. And Piggy takes care of Kermit....
Ru: (muttering) Sometimes that goes better than other times.
Rizzo: (making puppy dog/pollywog eyes) And you take care of me....
Ru: Hmm. Were you, perhaps, wondering if there was any cake left over from the party?
Rizzo: Yes, please!
Ru: Sorry Sweetie. No cake. Not a crumb.
Rizzo: Awww....
Ru: ...so I made a pie! Well, two pies.
Rizzo: (happily drooling) Ooh! Be still my heart! What kind?
Ru: Um, chocolate chiffon and peanut butter.
Fozzie: (coming into the kitchen) That sounds like a weird sandwich.
Ru: Not a sandwich--pies. Want some?
Fozzie: Do I!
Rizzo: Want I should get the Weirdo? He loves peanut butter....
Ru: (smiling) That would be very nice. Fozzie--will you serve the coffee....

Hector: Boy.. was I in trouble!
Why?
Hector: Because I didn't bring you over to dinner with me. I thought I was being the good son and having Wednesday night dinner with the family . My mother asked me if your flight got off safely and I told her that you didn't go because of the weather . BIG mistake! My WHOLE family started yelling at me because I didn't bring you with me! So guess where you're coming Saturday night? Casa de Rodriguez ! And you're going to be treated like the princess that you are! Uh.. you DID say mussels are out, right?
Unfortunately yes. Hopefully your mother won't hate me.
Hector: Absolutely not! She's crazy about you! My whole family is! Now if I can just get my sisters to stop showing me the engagement ring pages in the jewelry catalogs. At least my parents aren't being pushy about it.
Thank goodness for small miracles.
Hector: You've got it! Ugghh..work tomorrow. Wish I could play hooky. Spend the whole day with you.
You'll be here after work tomorrow and can stay for dinner.
