Announcement:

Just got a message from Mayor Phillip, there's a possibility we might lose the RadioNomi broadcast of Muppet Central Radio. How can we help? By logging in to the links in the thread in the Announcements or Feedback section and listening to MCR to build up the station's number of listening hours all throughout the month of October 2016. Hopefully we can get enough hours to continue MCR's lifetime on RadioNomi.

*Apt. 1 has some falseface masks decorating the walls... Their eyes open as soon as :batty: walks into the unloving room area.

:sing:
This is your once-a-year day, once-a-year day.
Felt the mourning sun and knew that.
This is your once-a-year day, once-a-year day.
Even got a chance to say "Boo!"
If you feel like counting up to a billion, ooh.
Counting bats, counting bones, what pleases you is what you'll doo.
Cause this is your once-a-year day, once-a-year day.
Everyone's entitled to be wild, be a child, be a goof, raise the roof.
Once a year!!!

*Roomies come in to wish :batty: a happy birthday, with an appointment for dinner down at the Bat, Bolt & Skull amidst fellow fiends.

Robin: Singing birthday telegram for The Count ! Besides the usual "Happy Birthday" Song that is.
Ohhhhhhh
:sing: One bat hanging in your steeple
one bat flies in thru the door
that makes two bats in your belfry
Wonderful!
But wait! ...there's more!
Two bats hanging in your steeple
one bat flies in thru the door
that makes three bats in your belfry
Wonderful!
But wait! there's more!
:sympathy: meanwhile quietly stands behind Robin with a hook & waits until Robin gets to 5 and gives him the hook)
Robin: Gllllaaarrrkkk!!!
:sympathy: :
What a shame! No more!:sing: Happy Birthday Count!
Robin: Rowlf! Why'd you do that? I wasn't done!
:sympathy:: Yes you were...that song could go on forever. That's like 99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall!
Robin: I was gonna stop at 20! I was gonna sing about them havin enough for Count's party!
Were you? giving Robin a look
Robin: Yes! I wanted to surprise him! I was gonna throw black confetti when I was done.
OK... go continue from 5 but leave it at 10. And tell him there's a surprise at the end. In fact. wait until Chef is done making this dark chocolate cake for him.
Robin: Yeah...OK.

Yeah, that song could go on forever, that's why the old cast dumped :batty: inside the bat-room's shower stall. And 99 Bottles does end, when you finally get to 0 bottles of whatever drink it is. But thanks for the thought guys, I'm sure Chef's cake will be great, especially if he's been watching the Halloween-inspired shows we've been watching.

Another good round of Halloween episodes on FN.

UD: I question if miss Medusa would actually want to try any of those new hairstyles.
Me: The snakes would never stand for being replaced by scorpions though. Besides, that'd make her more like Serket from Egyptian mythology rather than Greek.
UD: Mmm, quite. It reminds me of the humorous scene where Celia May says she's thinking of cutting her own hair, the snakes hiss against the idea and then happily cheer Mike when he says he likes her hair as it is.
:insatiable: What about the treats?
:batty: I liked the Route 666 brownies, though we've seen recipes for incorporating PB and broken pretzels, that'd truly make them look gravely like the road from the Highway to Heck.
:insatiable: Me prefer the eyeballs, they filled with dark chocolate.
Me: Though the cleverest treats from the roadside motels were the white chocolate bars of soap with raspberry fizzy soda. Makes you want to have your mouth cleaned out.
UD: The motel displays were inspired... But no one honored the classics.
Me: Yeah, I thought one of the teams would have done a rendition of the Bates Motel.
:batty: I liked the haunted bat-room scene, reminded me of the master bat-room back at the castle.
:insatiable: Me prefer the spooky cuppycakes the bakers make after that.
Me: Yeah... And there was a Muppet reference as well.

*Gang brushes teeth, settling in for bed.

*Goes over to Apt 2 and leaves a present for :super:. We didn't know what to get for the busy monster who's got as many jobs as :batty: can count, so we went to the HVC Mall and found a coffee mug (for hot chocolate if he prefers) that says "World's "Best?" Employee" on it. Happy birthday Grover.

:super:: Oh thank you very much everybody! I have never gotten one of these! I wonder why though. I work very hard but never get voted for best employee of the year. I run into that Mr. Johnson everywhere I go so surely you would think he nominate me for employee of the year.
You would think so, huh Grover?
Robin: And don't call me Shirley!
nudging Robin Old joke, buddy
Robin: I just saw the movie "Airplane!" for the first time the other day. So it's new to me.
Grover: Oh that reminds me, I have been a flight attendant too!

*Been listening to MCR all afternoon... Oh hey, Sing After Me's on now.

Heh, don't go falling to pieces on us kid. I always laugh when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar brakes character. You should watch the sequel, especially over Macho Grande.

I've seen the sequel. It's pretty funny. I always laugh at that guy Johnny who was in both Airplane! movies . His line about where he's told to describe the plane is one of my favorites!
"Oh it's big with red & white curtains & it looks like a big Tylenol!"
Robin: I like the part where all the passengers go nuts after the stewardess is asked if anyone knows how to fly a plane. And there's a lady who goes across the screen with her boo..
Robin....pray tell, where did you see this movie?
Robin: Over Bobby's when I slept over. Mom...don't be mad, OK?
:sympathy:: Well we know it wasn't the Disney Channel! chuckle
mumbling Would you shut up! then turning back to Robin All right ...you're not a kid anymore so I won't make so much of a big deal. But don't repeat any of that language around school or that scene with the ..well you know... around Uncle Kermit. He'll get REALLY mad . And we know what that's like.
Robin letting out a sigh that sounds like his Uncle Kermit: Yes Mom!
