*UD bastes the ribs with sauce and loads them onto a platter, handing it to for cooking.
* finishes the potato salad and paprika-flaked sweet potato fries.

Kelly (shows up to the BBQ): Hi, Ed! Hi, Kathy! Hi, Beth! How are you guys? Pearl said you were having a barbecue. I'm hungry.

Pearl (nods as she tries to keep the dogs from stealing the goodies): When I realized Spike weren't around, I sorta reckoned someone had food somewhere.

Spike (rummaging for rum): Why is da rum ALWAYS gone?

Beth: I'm not sure what they're grilling over there.

Yeah, I think...
*Hears dinnerbell.
Oh good, just in time, that means Chef and Deadly are done with the ribs.

*Outside lights turn on as it's getting dark.
Mealtime's about to start.
*The plates are passed around, letting each person either serve themselves or others.
