Help with submitting new threads

Over the past couple months I have tried to submit 2 TMS outlines in the Fan Fiction section and have been unable to. It's very frustrating and I was wondering if somebody could explain this or if anybody else has had difficulties with this.

First off, double check for me that you are indeed posting in "fan fiction" and not the games folder.

And if you are, are you getting any kind of error message or anything? I will do what I can to help, but others are able to start threads in "fan fiction" so you should be able to as well.

Yes, Philip, I'm positive that it was the "Fan Fiction" section. And, yes, I did get an error message; something along the lines of "exceeding memory".

Princeton, please try it again. Maybe submit a short post, then edit it to make it longer. That way you don't loose all your text. Or you could type it in another program. If you still have problems, let us know.

I just got this message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/muppetcentral.com/subdomains/forum/httpdocs/includes/init.php on line 17

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 15 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

When I try to go back and submit the post again, it tells me that it's a duplicate of a post I have just submitted in the past 5 minutes and takes me back to the message index...

That's exactly my problem. No worries though, Phil; I'll try it again next time I get on.

What do you mean, "type it in another program"? I already tried editing it. :concern:

I finally figured out what you meant by "Typing it in another program", Phil; it still wouldn't submit.

Ok... I will post here if I can find a work around. Sorry for the inconvenience.
